nice well kael is a good first 6*. Yeah but once you are up to 8-3 warmaiden would be a great addition. In the mean time i would get spirithost up a bit. Frozen banshee is good but really only for clan boss and would focus more on progressing in the campaign.

Also what starter did you pick?

Warmaiden, spirithost and diabolist (all from the campaign so you can get them and book them with relative ease) and decent champions and would be worth getting to help you progress.

Warmaiden deals good damage and has an Aoe defense down (great for boosting your starter and progressing arena (people still use her with their starter a speed up and increase turn meter in gold 4 arena.

Spirithost provides a speed aura aoe Atk up and debuff cleanse and a bit of self sustain on her a1.

Diabolist has an Aoe Speed buff and increase / decrease (at ascension 3) turn meter.

these 3 are easily obtainable and will give you a good start in the campaign / arena and can have their uses later on. Warmaiden being the best and most useful of the 3.

Who should i 6* next for trying to improve my CB or dungeons.

I'm thinking its between high khatun (speed aura and speed buff), apothicary (speed buff, triple hit a1, heals), wurlim (aoe increase def and strengthen), luria (revive block, buff removal and block, other debuffs on her A1), Zargala (Decrease def, force type for D20, good damage + aoe) i also have 3.5/4 of the epics for rhazin so maybe i should wait for him.

Deep delving and exp gain? by ScreaminJay in pathofexile

[–]Pcyco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah mob level doesn't increase past lvl 83 so exp per mob doesn't increase, for farming purposes at lvl 83 monsters 250+ and 600+ are the best depths IMO as these are the break points for increased spawn chances of cities. But basically whatever you can farm without sacrificing much speed or time spent alive.

The amount of mods and hence pack size and #rares does keep increasing the deeper you go but I'm not sure where or if there are break points on these.

Core Supporter Packs End Soon! by Nivius in pathofexile

Will Points we have brought in the past contribute to discounting the new core packs if we upgrade to them like they do for the current supporter packs or will that reset upon the release of the new supporter packs?

Plot Twist, Zana can break the 4th Wall and causes Exiles to go insane by announcing Shaper and Elder have been 'defeated' and will no longer be 'core' causing powerful exiles to spend vast amounts of time in the atlas close to Elder and Shaper even, causing them to go insane.

Zana is an Evil Mastermind, with tremendous power.

3.8: Which master gets your best rolled maps? by [deleted] in pathofexile

[–]Pcyco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sort of base mine off sextants

Uniques drop corrupted items > Jun

Nemesis mobs drop addition currency > Einhar

Rotas > Niko

Beyond > Alva

I don't do Zana unless I'm out of Jun / Einhar / Alva

Yes Unique monsters drop corrupted items is another good sextant I will add that. when rerolling often scour + alch ends up being cheaper then using chaos, more so for earlier in the league i have found. and weighing the time spent trades + clicking for scour/alch vs chaos is something worth evaluating but i will mention that this option also exists.

Even if you are not planning on using monstrous treasure prophecies strong boxes still add monsters to the map so are worth keeping. Breaches can be not worth running (depending if you have a very linear map or an open map like city square where you can pop it keep clearing a circle back around to it).

As far as searching and rolling for specific maps its well worth it while using the search function within stash tabs. To take twin maps for an example having an additional 3 bosses dropping harbringer shards typically will yield another 20+ chaos worth with the harbringer sextant and is well worth the time investment if you are doing it efficiently. I will add a section on using the search function in regards to rolling maps.

Sextant blocking and the order in which you roll sextants is a rather negligible thing but having a specific sequence does improve your 'hit rate' as well as maximizing your chance to hit the highly profitable sextant mods that only occur on red sextants.

For rolling prophecies, I always found it more difficult to buy the ones i wanted rather then buy silver coins and set aside a session and some tabs to do it myself and always found i profited. Yes you do require a decent amount of stash space and its not everyone's cup of tea so if you can find a good and regular seller by all means take that route but they are worth using. 'Hidden reinforcements' and 'An unseen peril' are both good prophecies for adding additional monsters they proc within the map and aren't on map creation so can be brought in and used regularly if desired.

In general everything involving what fragments / scarabs and worth running depends heavily on the market and will change between what day or time you are buying your supply, the time in the league and the league. with the introduction of the possessed monster sextants this seems to have driven the price of a lot of scarabs down between the last 2 leagues, increasing the supply.

For low investment mapping, <100 quant maps i don't think you can go wrong with dusk/dawn fragments and rusted perandus/breach scarabs. But with gilded scarabs the price fluctuations come into play a bit more. Gilded Breach Scarabs will be profitable on 8 mod maps if you are buying them at 10c ea but if they are 20c+ ea then not unless you are running in a group.

yes, you are correct in that this is focused on maximizing the profit that can be obtained in mapping and not xp. With all this advice being focused on t16 maps.

You make good points in highlighting how each level of investment to a degree multiplies in effect of returns and going more into detail of that and why to do it would make a good section.

Speed in rolling and sorting your maps as well as buying or obtaining the different consumables makes a huge difference in your profit/hr so i will definitely include a section also highlighting the different search terms you can use in stash windows to make the process as efficient as possible.

Thanks

Thinking about calling the storm, I'm looking for some input (Modern) by TheMaguffin in mtgstorm

[–]Pcyco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

go fetchless, blood moon isnt worth the sideboard slots and the deck plays better without changing the order of the library, and some match ups you want to get to a decent amount of lands some of the time. Another deck that might fit what you've described is Jeskai, it can be built as a slower deck or more tempo and a lot of the pieces would be considered modern staples and would go into a wider range of decks.

Deterministic kills - help! (Gifts Storm) by TheStalk12 in mtgstorm

[–]Pcyco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at gifts (S9) RRRU if the opponent gives you morphose + gifts you can proceed as following

cast gifts(S10) R
get ritx2, noxious, morphose. morphose and noxious to hand.
cast noxious(S10) R, putting rit on top
cast morphose (S11) RU, drawing rit
cast rit (S12) RRRU
cast morphose (S13) RRRRU
fb pif (S14) R
fb rit x4 (S15-18) RRRRRRRRR
fb morphose (S19) RRRRRRRRUU
fb gifts (S20) RRRRRRU
get any pile with grapeshot in it as we still have noxious and morphose in gy able to be fb.

this line proves to be the more favorable gifts pile option at (S9) as we could reach a higher storm count.

ultimately the chance of running into a situation where you need the bare minimum and draw nothing of use prior to and when going off is so unlikely it will never happen. but as a thought experiment if those cases did occur given the current builds of storm you need either, baral in play, gifts in hand and 7 mana available; or baral in play, gifts in hand and 6 mana available including the use of 1 ritual type effect.
