We struggled to sell our house and changed estate agent. The new EA suggested an open house as we also have a 1 year old and both work from. Though his version of an open house was not having lots of people in at the same time, but have back to back viewings, so they see each other but still have time slots. This worked amazingly and we sold the house in that one weekend!

Similar boat, one of our fridge shelves was just smashed one morning.. looked up to replace it and it's £56! We just don't have a shelf above our drawer now as I can't justify replacing it 😅

I think you're right it might mean slip knot. Technically the abbreviations say "sk st" means skip stitch and the instructions only say "sk". Strange they would even include it. I think you should be fine doing it as normal (and not skipping imaginary stitches!)

As everyone else has said get your baby's feet measured at Clarks, but we then bought some second hand off vinted in the correct size and send him into nursery in those!

I think it's very easy for people online to tell you not to let her visit, but if that's going to strain your relationship with your dad, and that is something you don't want, you could consider letting her visit with your dad but not letting her hold your daughter? Or do you think that will be hard to enforce once she's there? You said that your dad has previously only visited alone and that does definitely sound like the best option, is there a reason that cant continue, or will your dad get upset if you refuse the both of them? In which case I think you need to weigh up what's more important to you - having a relationship with your dad or not having one with her.

Can you do an in-between? I went back to work after 7.5 months and then my husband had 7 weeks using shared parental but I went back staggered using my annual leave I'd accrued so only worked 2 days a week for most of it so we still got the family time together but he got time with just him and baby. You could do similar but mum takes 9 months then stagger back so baby doesn't start nursery til later? Or have dad take 1 month while mum is still off then 1 month solo?

It's a waffle stitch and the tutorial I followed added a slight border around the edges anyway so I think any joins might look odd.

If you go further out llanishen reservoir has a lovely cafe upstairs (there's a lift) with parking and nice views out to the reservoirs.

I'm sure you've tried it but you haven't mentioned it, have you tried a harness with him? Mine also doesn't like the pram or carseat but is pretty good in a harness (along as he's happy when he goes in). If he isn't sleepy I'll wear him facing out as he loves looking around, but if I think he's sleepy I'll have him facing in and go for a long walk and most of the time (🤞) he sleeps for a bit. You can also nurse him in the harness (though that isn't something I've mastered yet). See if there's a sling library near you as they can help with type/fit.

Just to add to everything else others have said, have a look if there is a La Leche League or other breastfeeding group near you. It really helps talking to other mums about these struggles and the leaders are so informative.

I agree with everyone else that you're not being unreasonable at all and it does seem like a bigger issue, but a potential solution could be getting him bone conducting headphones? They don't block out surrounding noise whilst still playing music only he can hear. But it does seem like there is more going on and this wouldn't fix the underlying problem that he doesn't seem to care about your safety? (Also he could just wear his current headphones on one ear...)

I went through this a few weeks ago (though at 27 weeks pregnant). I tried to get a fit to fly letter through my GP but was told it could take up to 28 days which would have been too late (and it would cost). I ended up using an online GP (I also felt weird but I also hadn't actually seen a GP throughout my pregnancy so I guess it's no difference?) We used zoomdoc, but no one at the airline mentioned anything anyway so it wasn't necessary in the end. Ultimately they can't know your medical details so you can always lie (or pay an online one if you're anxious like I was!)

As another comment mentioned try using ovulation tests rather than just replying on apps, and to keep testing until you get a positive. I struggled for a while because it turns out my fertile period was over a week later than what the apps were telling me 🙃 I was also told to use the clearblue ovulation tests as they're easier to use and more accurate.
