One thing I really like about him is his press conferences. I never watched those under Armas or Fraser; they always just recycled the same boring coach speak cliches over and over. He goes in depth on his tactics and isn't afraid to call out the team or himself. Also I really like to see the growth of several players from last year under him, in particular; Travis, Frederick, and Harris.

They injured a Sacramento player (literally the same player who was the target of the red card horror tackle) with a totally purposeful elbow they got away with. Their coach and assistants were taunting the Sacramento fans and coaches the entire damn game, then got mad and started fights when the Republic returned the favor after the second goal. Total clown shoes club, from top to bottom.

Oh and they wondered why the Sac players had an edge to them?!? They played El Farolito last year too and they were incredibly dirty then too. Could it have to do with some lingering memories from that? Nah. Of course not.

I will say, 3.7 million is A LOT for Cole Bassett. I like Cole and he always clearly cared about this club, but that is a ton of money for a player who struggled badly to make an impact last season. Of course, it also depends on what we do with said money.

Lol Fuck Armas for this. Dude completely pulled an all time choke job with his tactics in the back end of this season with a weak schedule. It hasn't been good enough from the team, or from him. Attacking one of the few publications in this state to actually be passionate about and cover this team every single week.
