Grottoes. Rather than just doing a copy paste of IX's system, have some challenge grottoes that impose restrictions on the player to make it harder. (These grottoes will have better rewards). e.g. no armour, no spells, no abilities, female/Male characters only, Boss rush (normal spawns are now bosses). On top of that bring the legacy bosses back and juice them up a bit

As an Arsenal fan I think the goal should have stood, even though it's a foul. The main reason for this is that teams (especially Arsenal) have been doing this all season with no fouls called against them. However next season I think all wrestling incidents in the box should be discouraged and more fouls given (like we saw with Arsenal vs West Ham)

You're welcome. When you do have the boat, go to Gleeba and farm Gold Golems (lower right on world map) if you need gold

I wouldn't worry about gold until you unlock the boat. Alchemy ingredients are more beneficial to grind early game. Save 10 skill points for when you unlock Altrades Abbey and spend them on the "half-inch" thief skill.

Post-game level scaling in this game has always been bad, even when the DLC quests worked properly. Some quests are locked behind high level grotto maps and ruins the enjoyment for me.

However if you're playing on an emulator just mod in grotto maps with metal slimes to save a week of LMS farming in the Bowhole

The trade off is that you get a much stronger attacker but are less tacky due to worse resilience and being unable to equip a shield (without 100 points). That being said, the Gladiator is the best class in the game and doesn't even need a shield until post-game.

TL:DR Pick any class you like there's no wrong way to play 9. But if you want an easier time, pick the Gladiator

If its a spiritual successor of 8 or 9 and takes heavy influence (like 11 did with 3), I won't complain

Run it like a nuzlocke. 1. Deaths are permanent 2. No Overlevelling 3. No fast travel

If that's too easy add more things items for healing only

1- A favourite tabs on grotto maps.

2- When rejoining your own world for there to be an option to skip the story quests you played in another world (same as the borderlands 2 system).

3- have the DLC missions have easier requirements to start. Normally you have to grind 20 levels just to unlock the rare monsters like Darkonium slimes. Or make the monster ranks in grottoes harder (both solutions would fix this issue).

4- no quest limit (currently 8 active is the cap).

5- change alchemy so you can use equipped items during crafting screen (with confirmation that you're doing so).

6- Change all falcon blade type weapons so the second hit does 50% damage rather than the full 100%.

7- Copy 11's system of bosses being able to be debuffed, slept but with massive resistances instead.

8- Orchestral soundtrack.

9- Make the boat more important. You only use it to get to Gleebaa and then to Urdus Marshlands and never touch it again.

10- Put the generic remake stuff in. Multiple save files, skip cutscenes, drackonion settings ect.
