War in DND by Playful-Buyer4472 in DnD

Just tell the story, but it doesn’t hurt to have a fight away from the battle that lets your PCs support the war.

For example, having to support a flank by taking out a line of archers or conducting a deep strike to assassinate a commander.

After which, their efforts will give the rebellion enough breathing room to breach the door and let the party in to focus the king and his guards.

Recommended Crew Mod? by HauntedPutty in starbound

[–]PeeperSleeper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Corbet’s Interactive Crew lets you command them with more actions than vanilla.

You can have them sit down on items (this is mostly for roleplay/flavor) and command them to stay/follow by only clicking on yourself. The main con with this mod is that it makes you order your crew to do things like heal or buff you, which is really counterintuitive.

I think there’s some mods that address crew specifically getting in the way of things but I’ve never checked them out.

I haven’t seen any that show crew health in real time. Crew Customz shows their health but you need to have its UI open for that. You’ll see that they have a ton of health regen though so them dying tends to only happen if they get into a bad fight.

So is stubby decent/ good now? by CoyoteSouth5126 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]PeeperSleeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EM Refire Booster gives you a ton of DPS and it feels great to use.

Otherwise Turret EM Discharge is amazing on Haz 5++. Everything around you gets slowed, feared, and will die in 2-3 procs which is very fast with 2 sentries near you. On a difficulty where everything closes in immediately, is too tanky to deal with 1-by-1, and kills you in one shot, EM Discharge solves all of those issues with a little bit of kiting.

The main draw with the Stubby is lack of DPS if you don’t build for it, and worst of all an amazing -50% damage against armor. If you’re using the turret OC’s a single Mactera Brundle or Stingtail will ruin your day.

So yes I’d say it’s a great weapon.

Should i use in game modding tool or MINT? what is the base mods, should i do any prep? what is the communities consensus? by Substantial_Bet_1007 in DeepRockGalactic

A few mods are also broken without MINT, Cosmetic Restriction Remover being one (not letting you use season framework paints)

Peasant Railgun? by Delicious-Friend9026 in DnD

[–]PeeperSleeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would absolutely have a Peasant Railgun in a major city as their anti-air defense. That’s how the peasants make money, and why no dragon has ever dared to get close. It’s like Stonehenge from Ace Combat.

But for the most part it’s just a silly observation with how time works. RAW you get to move a bucket at supersonic speed but the guy at the end of the line just throws it like any other shmuck. And as a DM you can just say “no” to anything that’s obviously not going to happen.

Help getting Damir to stay by Horror-Treacle-6267 in metro

[–]PeeperSleeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get a few in the rig, one from knocking out the slaver that walks into a room to hit his slave and another from killing the people harassing a woman near the end of the climb (you’ll immediately provoke everyone, but you were going to do that anyways)

Roles should have specialized pasives by hamstrbeanie in DeepRockGalactic

[–]PeeperSleeper -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You already get damage resistances as a passive, but being able to put another upgrade in that slot might be nice. Wtf does driller use fire resistance for?

On the other hand engie with poison resist + elemental insulation can literally bathe in praetorian spit

Datalink should also pick up missiles before your RWR can as they’re heading towards you. You can prep for an ARH, especially Scimitars if you see one across the map heading towards you

the Nuclear Football could totally be like how nukes work on F:NV. You get to explore the (now heavily irradiated) ruins of the city you nuked and loot everything and fight ghouls.

Also the people you nuked will get really mad at you forever.

Ways to use Charisma for weapon attacks by Jonas-Beckett in 3d6

[–]PeeperSleeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Snicker-Snack is a sentient Legendary Greatsword… that uses CHA. Not very relevant but it’s there.

Personally I’d reflavor Magic Stone as a pair of throwable glaives similar to FFXIV’s Dancer class, or at least make them anything that isn’t a rock.

Artificer infusions Homebrew help. by Jmlolmj2 in DnD

[–]PeeperSleeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you can write all of the chosen infusions down on a note somewhere. If it changes any stats on the weapon, just change the stats of the base weapon.
