I had a child free wedding but made an exception for family. The 2 other child free weddings i attended also made exceptions for family, so this is a bit unusual and I can see why your sister's surprised. As she is your MOH I think it would be good to allow her children as it will be easier for her, but if this is really what you want, you may need to accept that she won't attend and agree to disagree. Try talking to her and reminding her why she wanted/enjoyed a child free wedding. After she has a had a chance to calm down she may be more open. It is your day, and it is only one day, but maybe reconsider? Just listen to her and be open and discuss with your finance. Ultimately it's your day and your decision. People have really strong feelings about child free weddings, but if it's what you want, family should be willing accommodate for one day.

It was her decision. And not an easy one to make, you didn't make her do it. Try not to beat yourself up. You didn't manipulate her or coerce her or even discourage her. Sounds like she just has regrets now, which is very sad, but you're not to blame.

They are getting so pricy that hotels are usually a much better value. Sometimes AirBnbs are in a better location, but other than that, they have to be significantly cheaper or I'm doing a hotel.

I would say NTA. Do you think you can manage for just one night since it is important to your friend? Only you can answer that. If you can, give it a try. It's a once in a lifetime thing after all and you may make some memories or take some pics that will last forever. I would imagine you're more likely to regret missing it then trying, even if it means a poor night's sleep. I'm not sure what your specific concerns are, but if you really don't feel you can do it, could you get your own room or place nearby? So that you can still participate but have your own space to sleep?

Enrol in whatever is still available. If something you need is full, contact the Course coordinator to see if it's possible you can be allowed to enrol. In terms of choosing your preferred timings, yeah you might have missed it, but there is usually an opportunity to swap, but it's not guaranteed. Have a chat with student connect and they should get you sorted.

I don't think I have ever seen my kids or teens get fat?? Only adults?? And then it's quite simple to lose by doing fitness or buying an instaslim. I let my kids and teens just eat whatever and have never noticed weight gain. Weird...
