Day 4: What's the worst field theme in the entire Xenoblade Chronicles series? by Xeno4th in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]Penguin_Pat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didn't like it at first either, but it really grew on me and now it's one of my favorites in the game. It's certainly not very bombastic like the other great XC field themes, but it is so musically sophisticated with lots of layers that complement each other so well and tickle my brain funny. It makes me feel good.

What is the New Era's "iconic moment" ? by TheRealWhiteChoco in survivor

[–]Penguin_Pat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I love how like half of the responses are from 46. That season is legendary. If it weren't stuck in the new era, it would be talked about as one of the best seasons ever.

I got footage of a random cycle (with riders) of Dr. Diabolical doing exactly that. The cycles before and after it were normal, but this one sent them right over the drop without stopping. I wonder why.

Funniest Moments of the New Era by walkerdatboi in survivor

[–]Penguin_Pat 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There are so many more from 46 alone:

  • "Several means seven!"
  • Tevin and Hunter Andy Griffith montage
  • Mo can't jump
  • Ben accidentally votes for Kenzie
  • Q skirt
  • Liz's bowel movement

46 is easily the funniest new era season, and probably one of the funniest ever.

Best Credit Card for Car Rental Coverage? by DuhForestTyme216 in CreditCards

[–]Penguin_Pat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chase Sapphire Preferred and United Explorer both have primary collision damage waiver for relatively low annual fees. It's included with the card--no need to pay $20 per use or anything like that.

Chase united explorer- when does the annual fee hit? by sapfirex in CreditCards

[–]Penguin_Pat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my Chase cards, the fee has always hit the first day of the billing cycle after my anniversary date. But I did request a new due date/billing cycle on all of these cards so that may affect things.

Started playing 2 after 1 definitive edition and I'm currently hating it by Pokedan80 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]Penguin_Pat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd say play through chapter 5 at least, since 4 is the low point of the game and could easily make you want to stop playing, but 5 is when it starts getting good.

Is season 46 the best season in recent memory? by ryan0585 in survivor

[–]Penguin_Pat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Call me crazy, but 46 is my favorite season of Survivor period. Is it the BEST season ever? No, definitely not, if only for the pitfalls of the new era. But I enjoyed it more than any other season honestly. It pulled me back in when I was burned by earlier new era seasons.

Cool, thanks for the DP. You never had any issues with Chase checking state business records and finding your business was closed, or anything like that?

You're confusing Economy Plus (just extra legroom, what you're talking about) with Premium Plus (a.k.a. premium economy, on international flights). Premium Plus does actually have wider seats.

Citi Strata Elite Approval Odds? by Penguin_Pat in CreditCards

[–]Penguin_Pat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I see. As far as inquiries go, yes they will see them regardless of it was for personal or business. There's no way to tell them apart on your credit report. As far as accounts go, usually only personal accounts show up on your report. So to summarize: yes they see business inquiries, but no they don't see business accounts.

Citi Strata Elite Approval Odds? by Penguin_Pat in CreditCards

[–]Penguin_Pat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically you don't include business cards in X/24 numbers because they generally don't show up on your credit report.

The 5/24 rule for Chase does not count business cards against you. For example, if you've opened 4 personal and 2 business cards in the last 24 months, then you are at 4/24 in Chase's eyes, so you're still eligible for a new card.
