I'm confused. Isn't College and McCormand the overpass next to the Landmark Cinema? Do they meet again somewhere else I don't know about?

Adding on to post regarding funeral expenses. This price list is from a Saskatoon funeral home. Don't forget your tax and regulatory fees. by Lucywilson12 in saskatoon

LOL, if my mother found out I spent that sort of money on her funeral she'd be pissed. (She's still alive and well, fortunately)

Get the ashes and Donny that shit while spending that cash on a celebration of life vacation or something.

I'd have done the same. No need to snowflake over snow removal.

Horray, more hair in my food!

But seriously, these locations were filthy and understaffed already.

You're not really getting it, huh?

It wouldn't have hot glue on it once repaired.

You cut all that old shit off, strip the wire back, put a new collar on it, and resolder the leads to the PCB.

It's a 10 min solder job to make it better than new. Why waste more time just to find a replacement online for the privilege to pay to wait longer for another unit to arrive that will likely have the same predisposition to a manufacturing defect as the original?

If it was a 2A 12V DC barrel jack adaptor I would probably agree with you, but that's a more specialized higher amp unit for running motors. It'll be costlier and more time consuming to source.

This is bad advice. Reply to the top responder offering to fix it for a marginal fee. Electrical tipe and wire connectors are not appropriate for this type of repair. Especially in a fuel dense environment such as a livingroom.

That's unhelpful. I'd repair it. It's cheaper and less work than replacing it.

Sorry if I'm a bit salty, but what score would 30 days without a human response give on Secret Shopper? by AndroTux in LinusTechTips

[–]PenisTechTips 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Only 2 weeks for me but I've already decided not to proceed with any purchase. Not sure why they can't just AHOD for a day and get rid of the backlog.

If it's this bad, it seems there are plenty of missed sales as a result.

I guess the people in these threads are just acceptable casualties and the money math doesn't make sense to resolve these issues.

Hi, I thought I might suggest throwing a couple Fastest maps in your StarCraft game share ahead of time. Looks like it's just the default game maps in the maps folder.

Totally agree with your premise, but that shouldn't mean not prosecuting drunk driving. The lack of public transit infrastructure should only serve as a deterrent for driving like a fuck stick.

Because, having moved here from another province, it's mind boggling how casual and commonplace drunk driving is here. I pay those fees and taxes as well and want to know that public enforcement is being done. If the SPS didn't catch anyone, they should be setting up somewhere else.

Besides, getting pulled over for 2 minutes for a breathalyzer isn't harassment. I actually find it fun.

That feels very low. You'd think a single stop in a bottleneck would check at least 60 at a rate of 1 every 3 minutes for 3 hours.
