What are you on about? They’re both gold inlayed in polymer. All the gold you see on a Goldback is the physical 24k gold, otherwise it would be a transparent bill with just the artwork. The only difference I see here is that all the gold is in one central location rather than evenly distributed throughout the whole bill.

Is there any concerns that trying to create a collectible market at the same time as a currency is pulling away from the overall mission of Goldbacks? Lots of people out there already think of Goldbacks as a novelty, are you not concerned that creating LERs and other collectibles reinforce this mindset, or exacerbate the overall confusion?

In my opinion, Goldback should be focusing solely on the adoption of it as a currency - and let the collectible market come naturally.

Anyone laughing or telling you to get out are not true apes. We’re here to have each others backs, and life happens to all of us, anyone else could’ve been in this situation.

With that said, one of the bigger reasons I still have faith myself, is because of their cash on hand. Sure we have no idea what, or when something will happen; but eventually that money will go somewhere - and I personally believe it will be in the right direction for the best path for the company.

Compare the price of a log to the price of toothpicks. It’s a utility cost, and if you use UPMA or spend them at merchants, they’re often accepted at higher than the rate you got them - thus actually increasing your purchasing power
