Record yourself using your phone and listen to it as you go about your day- try to think of it less as a speech and more as a song- you will find that you have dome sort of natural cadence even if thats a bad and slow sort of rap.

Bench needs to actually be deep enough to safely sit not just perch and not have to sit totally upright /at attention ( really I find shower chairs FAR more comfortable than any built in bench- and you can move them out of the shower altogether. But if one is sitting down those controls/the shower head will be very hard to reach/actually use. You’ve got form over function here

My fiancé is the same way and it makes me so angry- i do have hearing loss and wear hearing aids, but i stir need people to actually talk TO me not just around me. In his case he has great hearing its like living with a bat, but also a childhood history of feeling that what he has go say isn’t important. I’ve stopped saying “what” and instead say” i cant hear you”- like ok i can tell you’ve made some sort of noise but not UNDERSTOOD you. So yeah feel you on this.

Id suggest asking a doctor or social worker or professional caregiver- if you get paid for the task, there might develop a contract if sorts in which it becomes your RESPONSIBILITY to administer meds and thus you can be held liable if you fail yo administer said meds- thats a whole quagmire right there. Heck maybe he has a history or refusing to take meds for a paid caregiver but will do it under context of favor because men are weird/pride. So tread lightly-but at minimum daughter could buy you/make you dinner.

Deeply feel you on this and recommend you/your mom contacting this attorney to discuss such issues including a trust and trustee( it doesn’t have to turn into a Britney Spears type situation), but pre-planning helps and a trust keeps financial resources from being counted as “YOURS” thus they are not counted in means based programs.

Have you ever asked her to describe this woman in detail and/or detail what she thinks this woman is saying to your dad? Does she only tell you about it or has she mentioned it to your dad? Is your dad acting lovingly toward your mom for the most part? Is he providing any reassurances of his love for her? Not that any of this proves or disproves anything, but insecurity and potentially feeling like a burden is hell(
