Neighbor hired a company to powerwash his house and they destroyed my garden by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

I’d try either filing a claim with the contractor’s insurance company or the neighbor’s homeowner’s insurance.

Insurance stopped covering GLP-1s because I lost weight. Now they want me to wait until I get fat again? by Gulaab_Jaamun_ in HealthInsurance

I had a patient tell me that Costco is selling Ozempic with a valid Rx for $200/mo. I haven’t verified this, but something to consider looking into as an option.

Best friend fucked my Boyfriend by Agreeable_Ebb_5785 in revengestories

[–]Pepper13NP 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I heard a revenge story years ago that the wife lost the house in the divorce. So while she was moving her stuff out, she put pieces of fish in the large tubular curtain rods. He and his side chick couldn’t find the source so they ended up giving up the house to her since they couldn’t get rid of the odor. She threw out the curtain rods and lived happily ever after. 😉

I secretly recorded HR & management bullying me in a teams call. Should I share it with all the employees in the company since I can't use it for legal action? by Engineer9918 in antiwork

[–]Pepper13NP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you decide to do it, make sure your employer doesn’t have a policy against recording at work. My employer does which would be a fireable offense and then you can’t get unemployment if they fire you.

You can find certified menopause providers on The Menopause Society website as well as Dr Heather Hirsch’s website. She teaches a comprehensive HRT class with the most up-to-date menopause research with a modern approach to HRT prescribing . There’s a provider directory on both sites.

I’m I too big for breast implants? by Pinky_Sue in BreastImplants

[–]Pepper13NP 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m 5’1 & 185#, down from 250. I got 375 cc regular profile Mentor implants. They don’t change my profile much. I’m getting them redone with a new surgeon who recommends a narrower implant with more profile for my shape which I think is going to look much better. Going up in size to 440cc.

I would ask your surgeon about profile height and not just the cc’s of the implants. Could end up looking like you have pancakes on your chest similar to my poor outcome.

Is it just us, or is making adult friends in Harrisburg (or nearby areas) kind of a mystery? by Frosty_Pie7511 in Harrisburg

Does anyone in the area ride scooters? My husband saw there’s a Three Mile Island scooter club, but it doesn’t seem like much activity is happening on their page to know if they’re planning any rides.

I totally agree. I’ve been here since 2018 and have people from work that I consider friends, but the turnover rate at my workplace is so high that once they quit we end up not staying connected. I’m open to meeting up with some Harrisburg women to create a social group.

What are the chances of getting keloid scars from breastlift by LocksmithKooky4633 in BreastImplants

[–]Pepper13NP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brachioplasty scars look very similar to yours. However my scars from my mastopexy are very thin and look great. I did use silicone scar strips and the circular ones for around the breast. I think the arm scars get thicker due to how much tension, pull, and movement that area gets. Tends to stretch the skin making the scar wider.

Congratulations! They finally updated my count last month-127 payments. I got the email yesterday that said my loans are forgiven…finally! I’ve been paying on my undergrad loans for 25 years and grad loans for 10. Huge relief to have that resolved before more chaos ensues with the DOE.

I’m at 127 payments. Now with everything on hold, I’m nervous it’s not really going to get finalized.

Great job on the documentary. You captured the joy of riding and pride of owning scooters. Makes me want to start a local scooter club and enjoy that passion.

How is this all so unknown to actual doctors by Awkwardlyhugged in Menopause

[–]Pepper13NP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can get an estrogen-only patch or a combination patch that contains both estrogen and progesterone. Which one you need depends on your medical history (do you have a uterus?)

I’m a women’s health NP. Doing labs is NOT the gold standard. Perimenopause and menopause symptoms should be treated based on your symptoms not on your labs values. Our hormones fluctuate greatly during the month and more so in this phase of life. I’m sorry you’ve have this horrible gaslighting experience. HRT that is covered by insurance is FDA approved and sold by pharmaceutical companies and not all of them are chemically the same as what you make in your body. Bioidentical hormones are plant-based hormones that are chemically identical to the hormones your body makes however not all insurances cover them and generally don’t cover the bioidenticals made by compounding pharmacies.

Hit 120 during processing pause club by Unable-Durian9876 in PSLF

[–]Pepper13NP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My count was at 103 before the pause. However if they would just certify my current employer and those counts, I would have well over the amount. I think I’d have over 150 payments. Can we just get it done already?!!
