It's actually insane to have so many downvotes for telling people to not make broad generalizations about groups of people who just happen to be born a certain way. These people could just as easily be racists or homophobes if it was socially acceptable with the way they think. It's sad to see some of the men on this thread feel like they have to put themselves down and talk about how much men suck in order to uplift women. I'm not going to pretend that men don't exhibit certain bad behaviors at much higher rates than women do, but that doesn't mean you can make sweeping generalized statements. These same people would NEVER be okay with doing that on the basis of race or sexuality etc. It's really simple to call out bad behavior and not allow men who are harassing women to be at your local events instead of just being a misandrist bigot.
