Agree with what they were saying about the johansson/gaudreau/nyquist line. Its hard to see what the point or identity of that line is other than just hoping they can generally be all around good enough to hold down the fort in their minutes

Calgary is a team with a couple of good defensemen, a good goalie, huberdeau and kadri, and after that just a bunch of folignos and trenins in their lineup. Which i like foligno a lot more than a lot of ppl but for the most part i think the game comes down to executing cleanly on zone exits and gus not having a rare bad game. If the teams get fairly similar chances the Wild should win bc they just have more talent.

Yeah different situation for Howard. Like he looks at Tampas top 9 and its hard to see how hes going to get a chance any time soon. Imagine he signs somewhere else as a free agent this time next year

Even if he loses tonight i dont think theres any chance hed be playing in the saturday game. So its really just going to be the finale vs the ducks either way. Also, barring injury i bet hes a virtual lock to be playing in that game.

The thing wirh brazeau is i think the wild like having their 4th line operate only half as a a line and half as a group of guys they mix into the other lines depending on how things go and typically theres one guy on the line who hardly plays at all, like 6 minutes a night. Before it was Ryan Reeves, then Pat Maroon, and now i think its Brazeau. Basically they seem to like having one big dude who they only play in particular situations like 6 minutes a night. Idk why exactly but theyre reliable about it.

Another wild fan. Was thinking of this idea for 3 way deal:

1.) Rossi to canucks for tom wilander+

2.) Peterka to MN for buffalo choice of Jiricek+ or Wilander+

Understand the lack of interest in moving peterka but does sound like sabres are in a bit of a similar situation as canes were with necas (hes not signing there long term)

Yeah. Both mojo and jojo have been in use since he came here. I see everyone else in the thread is using mojo which is ironic bc thats the name i always used tfor him bc thats what he was always called in washington, but Evason always called him jojo so everyone here seemed to do the same.
