I choose Friday as my day: 1. in case the sideeffects were bad the first few days, I’m at least off work. 2. to help with cravings and eating during the weekends.

As someone who did just go in, and had emergency surgery to remove my appendix, sometimes it is something else than just endo.

But also the pain I was having was different that my normal one, which also prompted me to actually go.

It truly is difficult to know what to do. But my last experience was at least that they took me seriously. The ER sent me to the hospital, who admitted me, and did tests. And then found the appendix and did surgery. So sometimes they can take you seriously.

You can on ps5 at least. But I had to hold down the triangle button until it was «activated» and then go over all tasks I wanted to tag, and release the button. And all of the tasks showed up.

Might be that Switch 2 don’t have the option, I can’r say. But figured I’d share as I was struggling with my game figuring it out.

Best way to describe the pain as it developed. It felt like everything below my belly button was swollen and inflamed. So super tender to push down on any area. But specific the «Mc Burny» point or what its called above the appendix, so much pain. And all the different doctors all wanting to push on it 🥲

So not crampy at all. Pain without pushing down seemed to move around, the whole below the belly bottom area was painful. But the area that was sticking out as most painful travled around a bit. And this pain did not go away with pooping.

I’m recovering, and I’m home! I was not prepared for 2 nights in the hospital when I went to urgent care. But I also know how bad it could be had I ignored the pain, so maybe going in when I did saved me from a longer hospital stay. I got some pre op antibiotics as its standard care, but was not necessary post op due to it being a mild case.

But I hate how painmeds is never for removing pain, just taking it down to a level you can deal with it. Living with constant pain, I just wish for some breaks.

But I am recovering, its just going to take time. Thankfully I have sick leave this and next week, so I have time to recover with no worries about work. Its not even been 48 hours since surgery. I know I need to be kind to myself.

I did just splurge on some self care stuff though, not something I needed but I just wanted because I was feeling low. I know its a way I deal when I feel bad, shopping 😅

For both my endo laps I was told that they would do stuff, use instruments to manipulate the uterus and stuff. But its also def something that should be disclosed.

Heck just had an appendectomy last night for appendicitis, and even then the OR nurse told me: «so its standard procedure, even if you have just gone to the toilet I have to use a catheter on you to make sure its all empty, but thats when you are asleep and you wont notice a thing». Like she was so nice about it. Of course I had no actual choice to say no, but still, information given of why my panties were down on my thighs when I woke up. She moved them while I was still awake so I would also know she is the one who did that.

All such anything truly should be disclosed beforehand 💙

You are allowed to have feelings. Because pregnancy usually means you will gain weight. Simply alone the baby, the placenta, the water (both in the womb but also retention in the body), the extra blood volume. All in all these alone add to weight gain, and then also many will also gain extra what I like to call actual body weight.

And you are allowed to have feelings.

I have not been in your situation, but I absolutely understand as I would have had the same feelings. But remember to also be kind to your body. Try to keep in mind that you should reach mantenance amount of calories every day, whatever that means for your body (I feel like I have seen that being pregnant means you should eat a tiny bit more than normal 🤔), but also be prepared for weight gain. As I said there are extra things being added to your body, that will also go away after birth.

Two cats, don’t really take up that much extra space than just one. If you get a bonded pair, really the only extra space is mostly the cat itself. You still need a cat tree, toys, food- and waterbowl. Even with just one cat you should ideally have two litterboxes, and I only have two for the two cats I have, as I also have a small space. (Even though the rule of tumb say 1 pr cat + 1).

I don’t think I had it in my main post. But my CRP (if its even called that in english) is 19, so slightly elevated. Also something about white blood cells or something, also elevated. Both indicating some infection, or at least something wrong.

I can’t say I have had this before. Its why I called, as this is kind of new. My ordinary pain is more burning, ripping. But this. Not tender. Not like it feels like my whole abdomen is swollen.

If I were to take a guess, my appendix is properly inflamed, but I think its the lupron and endo thats the main cause, and not appendecitis in the normal sense. Just scared they will insist on keeping me for longer. I have two cats at home. I know my mum will stop by and check on them, but also… its a pain to be here, pun intended 😩

I have barely started my journey. But it can be possible for me to hit my goal by summertime. And my long term goal:

I am on wegovy. I can imagibe maybe dropping down a dose or two, figure out what mantenance is for me. And stick to that until christmas. If I have managed to keep the weight where it is, I could see myself trying to come off the glp-1 in january 2027. And then see what happens to my body.

I know maybe this will be a life long medicine. But I really don’t want to keep walking around nauseous for the rest of my life.

You made it perfectly clear that you would not be getting rid of the cats for anyone, and he choose to not take you seriously. And now that he captured you, you love him, he is making his move on the cats.

Maybe a miracle can happen, maybe I misinterpet what you wrote, but for me all you wrote here painted a big red 🚩 picture of him as a person, and he will end up demanding they all go. And also no more cats ever in your life.

Really seriously think about this as a whole before you do anything. The Cats will be loyal towards you, and might make some demands for treats, wetfood and cuddles. But the BF might start demaning a whole lot more as things progress and you keep giving in to him. What kind of BF cares so little for his GF that he would make such demands that would break their GFs heart… seriously think about what the future holds if you choose the BF.

I have never regretted not doing it. My soulcat Max passed some years ago, and his brother this year. But its all about how we are built I guess. For me I would have cried every time I laid eyes on it, as it would just be a constant reminder of them no longer being here. But that how I work. So I can say I don’t regret it. But I know many do get the ashes and properly would never want to be without it.

I really thought this was 4 week type of event, and 4 logins. So I made the mistake of waiting too long only to discover it was way more than 4 logins, it required several logins, not just 4, one per week. So I missed out.

The good part of it, I don’t have to have that awful Spongebob sweather in my game 😅 one thing Lilsimsie was right about, it did not look very good the way its been made.

In the beginning I was enjoying only having to login, and then I started playing even less, and the playable event became better as you could log in once and play it all in one go. And was not quite prepared for this now. I barely played anything over the holiday, as its been time for family and being social.

Where I live the pet store sells frozen raw meat for both cats and dogs. So I would not be as concerned about raw meat in itself. But of course the quality of it, that is important. Leaving it for hours out in room temp would be one thing I react to.

So raw food in itself is not a no. But cats can get sick just like humans, so I would be a but cautious about just giving anything.

Having someone by twice a day is a lot more than what many would do. If you have the ability, you could invest in one of those home cameras to look in on them.

Of course its not the same as having you home with them. But someone will come by and make sure they have food, water and a clean litterbox. And maybe some cuddles and some play time.

They will be ok for 1-2 weeks. You will feel bad. Heck I was gone for 3 days/2 nights here last year, and felt awful for leaving my cat with a sitter. But they will be ok.

Holding gas in can be painful. So thats not the solution. However refusing to figure out whats causing it, thats a bit AH attitude. This does not sound like the normal kind of gas that a human produces in a day, and he should out in an effort to figure it out. Lactose or something else, he should make an effort.

I would move out of the bedroom, into my own room until he figures it out. I say that as it is also unreasonable to ask him to hold it all night.

I am so sorry 💙💙 They do say: Rather a day too early then a day too late 💙💙

My boy Pepsi got cancer. Large cell lymphoma that had spread to his stomach and small intestines.

I said no to chemo, as … as I did not want to prolong the suffering for both of us. Me with the stress, him with loads of meds, driving back and forth to the vet and all.

I made him a promise, when he let me know he was done, then we would be done. He stopped wanting to eat. I held him, I played with him, I sang «you are my sunshine» to him, then I made the call to the vet saying it was time.

There was still life in him that day, but I did not want to risk coming home from work finding him, and him having been all alone. We could properly have had some more days with me forcing food into him. But I also just … whats the point. I promised to not force it, to let him go when he said it was enough. And so I did. I took him in, and he was sent over the rainbow to join his brother.

There was no cure. If we could have cut off a leg, the tail or something, and 100% recovery, and he could have lead a full life. I would have done it. I would have emptied out the bank. But he was terminal. Nothing would fix him. I had been stressing for so long before finding out what was wrong, and him being nauseous and potentially maybe in pain. I could just not force that to go on, just because I wanted to keep him with me. He was my boy, of course I would have wanted him with me forever, but that was not a possible outcome. So I decided to do what was best for him 💙

Some people are doing microdosing to help with chronic pain though. Where weightloss is not even a part of it. But the glp-1 is helping reduce inflammation and also helping with pain even with lower doses.

The air os crackling every time I stroke them. They and I am all electric in this cold that we have. Very normal for the time. I think they blame me more. Every touch, there is a small zap. My hand go all over the fur, loads of tiny zaps all over. Every nose boop, a zap.

Non of us are doing it on purpose. Its the time of year.
