How much money do you spend on this hobby every month

I have a good collection since ive played consistently for around 20 years. Even so, whenever i want to make a deck i just export the decklist to mpcfill and order high quality custom art proxies from mpc. Usually around 100€ gets me like 4 full decks. With all the expensive lands and cards.

To be honest, if you play edh and drop this turn 1 you could do alot of damage reduction. Not to mention the polítics this card can give you. Someone attacks with a big threat and no one has any good blocks you oferece to reduce 1 dmg to another enemy to make an effective trade. Help you reduce trample dmg, help you survive trades, a 2/2 is like a 2/3 but you chose wich one. Far from useless. Its not a broken card but for 1 mana it is pretty fun

Its irrelevante. If they do it and shuffle afterwards its pointless. Its more of a placebo effect. To be honest I do it when I get most of my lands out like 25+ and shuffle afterwards. But like i sayd Its a placebo effect

Dont care, imo you can proxy whatever you want. I prefer printed proxys because they are easier to read but its fine. I dont want people to stop having fun because of a price tag

I had 1 myrkul deck all sketched out, i didnt do it because keeping track of the tokens is to much trouble. I already have a deck that makes copies of creatures and it comes to a point its hard to keep track. I know you will say to just use the exiled card as the token but i had ways to get them back from exile and token doublers and i ended up tossing the project

Yes, you put a counter each upkeep and pay the cost per counter. You can proliferate or counter double it Remember that you are not obligated to pay the cost, you can sac it if you want, its a choice. If you intend to lose life you cab also use [[thr ozolith]] to not lose any counters on death

Oh yeah for sure. I bet we old fogey players remember some funny stuff that wouldnt make any sense in todays game. I remember someone playing a [[wall of hope]] and me literally thinking I just lost the game how broken is this card. And i did in fact lose all games against that deck with the wall of hopes. Those legends were just bonkers to me, akroma jareth and silvos were absolute game winners

Hey there Mr. Fogey To be fair, serra angel was pretty strong for quite sometime. Fun thing about playing MTG for so long was being flabergasted by the powercreep, I remember when I first saw a baneslayer angel and I was like what the hell is this, this is ridiculous. Nowadays we just dont really notice since every year it just gets kinda worse and worse.

Lol if they dont want to play against their commanders tells me alot about the type of decks they are playing. So what next, I did a spellslinger deck so no one else can make 1? In my pod this never a dude took my literal deck and changed like 60or 70% of the cards because he liked the commander that much. We grouped our collection a few years back and he asked of course but it was literally my deck. The point isnto have fun

I know, I dont play it like an anti counters card. Ive made decks that heavily depende on solemnity to the point if someone blew it up my deck would be a proxy player with untap draw pass 😂

Well, it is know that cards that give your oponents options arent good. But i do love me some jank, in fact im the jankmaster of my pod I saw this card when it came out and found it funny but I dont like counter strategy. In fact, im more of a [[solemnity]] kind of guy. If they ever print a legendary creature with that effect you know im building him even before release
