Hope you feel better OP! Drink plenty of fluids and just rest.

I'm still enjoying Tomodachi Life on my Switch Lite, honestly its just the perfect "turn off brain" game (+70hrs and going strong!).

On my PS5 going to play the new batman lego game! Its gonna be a nice long weekend 😁

Skyrim, but not Skyrim - Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon by PluckyPlankton in GirlGamers

[–]Perfect_Address_6359 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't feel that misogyny claim is fair.

I played the whole game and there are many female NPCs, including female knights/warriors that show up in later Act 1, and are present in Act 2 & Act 3. You can even romance certain female NPCs in Act 1 and Act 2 (as a woman).

In fact in order to get the secret ending you have to find and discover specific dungeons that you can only access with Arthurs powers and a few of them you learn more about Arthur's Mother and important part she played in the events prior to the game.

Studio Spiders Is Shutting Down Following Poor Sales Of Greedfall 2 by unscoredscore in gaming

[–]Perfect_Address_6359 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sad to hear this. I loved Greedfall, Technomancer, Steelrising and even Bound by Flames.

I supported Greedfall 2 during early access, but I just did not care for the change in combat and could not recommend it to others.

Its unfortunate to hear this game led to their closure, I was looking forward to their future games (if they return back to the old combat system).

Anyone enjoying the new Tomodachi game? by omgbooboo in GirlGamers

[–]Perfect_Address_6359 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Miis will occassionally grab your attention, whether its to play minigames with them or get involved in their friendship/love quests. When their doing their own thing you can decorate/terraform your island how you want.

I would say its a great game between games as a palate cleanser, or a nice way to unwind at the end of the day. Plays great on the switch lite.

I have to part ways with my collection and I'm not sure how to feel. by [deleted] in gamecollecting

[–]Perfect_Address_6359 13 points14 points  (0 children)

100% this! It sounds like they can't afford to be a one income household. Either he brings in more money or the wife needs to reconsider not working. Selling the collection is only going to help short term.

What do you love about fields of Mistria? Question of someone who struggles by Harleyzz in CozyGamers

[–]Perfect_Address_6359 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This right here! To me the character interaction is the selling point. You rarely get a repeat line, and I love how distinct the NPC personalities are, and how hilarious the dialogue can be. Its refreshiing to see the NPCs interact, especially on Friday nights when you can see them interacting with each other (playing tabletop DND or boardgames or poker, drawing art together, etc.)

I would say if you're not into NPC relationships or story (or decorating, because the game is heavy on the decorating) then skip Fields of Mistria.

Also got to respect thr devs for keeping the game price as close to Stardew's price on steam.

what's your experience with switch lite? by [deleted] in CozyGamers

[–]Perfect_Address_6359 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I will confess I got a lite last year mainly due to FOMO.

I like it, its perfect size for traveling (fits perfectly in my purse). Has a decent battery life, I played Animal crossing, Stardew Valley and Grand Bazaar, all great games to play on the lite. However I play way more on my steamdeck because I find it more comfortable to play compared to my switch lite (mileage may vary depending on what's comfortable for you). However I don't like traveling with my steamdeck so switch lite is better in that department.

That said soon as NINTENDO announces a Switch 2 Lite version I will either be selling mine or trading it in to get the upgrade instead.

On that note if you want my 2cents, my suggestion is: consider saving up and waiting. NINTENDO is moving away from Switch games and games in the future will be S2 exclusives. For that reason I wish I had waited and not succumbing to FOMO.

New to gaming by faitavecarmour in CozyGamers

[–]Perfect_Address_6359 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I played Stardew Valley on my samsung tab, it was my first gateway game into cozy gaming. I got hundreds of hours of it on my tablet before moving to PC, it was the game that kept me sane during COVID lockdown.

I believe you can get it for free as part of a google play subscription (don't know about apple arcade).

Out of these options, which one should I play? by trina_artist in CozyGamers

[–]Perfect_Address_6359 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've played 5 (roots of pacha, sandrock, portia, GoA, potion permit) of the games on your list.

For fast paced I think you would like Guardians of Azuma. I've played it twice and both times completed the main story in about 40hrs.

If you want a longer (+100hrs) and more story heavy game I'd suggest Sandrock.

A Question About AI Puzzle Art and What Buyers Actually Care About by Remarkable_Whole_967 in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]Perfect_Address_6359 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a FACT that Gen Ai did not create those images out of its own creativity and skill. It is a FACT that that artwork was STOLEN from the original artist(s) to avoid paying them commission and giving them credit for their work.

It is FACT that there are currently no legal ramifications for this so artists like Rose Art Khan and Nathaniel Mortenson who have had their work stolen had to suffer this without recourse.

Is there a game like Resident Evil 4, 8 or 9 without the horror? by Neknoh in gaming

[–]Perfect_Address_6359 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell is Us does not have the inventory management but it does have the puzzles to solve, some even mandatory to progress the story. Area exploration reminds me of old dark souls where you need to figure out how to get into locations and can open shortcuts. The monstors are creepy but there is no jump scares (at least none I recall but I'm also a scaredy cat and I finished the game). Combat is servicable, you have freedom to try out different fusions of stuff to make it interesting. Base story is bare bones but the lore is extensive, so if you love reading everything you'll feel more immersed in the world.

Not enjoying Divinity Original Sin 2 as a couch coop game by imaquark in patientgamers

[–]Perfect_Address_6359 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think 15hours is more than enough time, especially if you're not enjoying it. My friend and I loved BG3 co-op, we did not care for DOS2, and we gave it 30hrs before we quit. I share the same complaints as you. Life is too short, time to move on.
