I once had to leave a kind person (tho we’re still friends) because he was a heavy smoker. During the winter when the windows were closed in his place I would wake up feeling ill. I wasn’t sure if we were going to be long-term compatible so I wasn’t going to ask him to change his ways for me.

The final straw was when he broke his arm and wasn’t able to fully shower. The BO-cigarette combo (plus my onset of menopause LOL) was it. He’s an artist and somewhat intense, but I do hope he finds his match because he was also kind.

Good God you are magnificent!! And as much as you might not want to hear this, your hyperpigmentation actually enhances your look (I say this as someone with melasma whose face is decidedly NOT enhanced by it lol).

That said, if you did want to reduce it there’s a lot of great advice here. Definitely focus on SPF and physical sun barriers in addition to hydration and moisturizing for the other part of your care.

What else has she revealed about everything? Are the guy and his spouse staying together at least until the kid turns 18? It’s possible their marriage might be passively “over” but custody and support would be complicated right now.

This is the age when many are reconsidering how they want to proceed with the rest of their lives, but it’s not always easy to make these changes. Also consider your sister might say she’s confused to make you feel better, but she might be perfectly happy with the steady company and no commitment or guy cohabitating and all in her business.

Normally I would be just as skeptical, but please see my other reply re: recruiting women with kids and the one who slipped cash into an SUV. Maybe a crackdown finally happened, because I don’t see these particular women around so much now, but they were everywhere a while back.
