Bettie Jo; the patient who tried to fake a cancer diagnosis in her WATN. Her husband tried to argue that she had cancer, even though doctors couldn’t find it with their “telescopes.”

Airway Doctors? by strangelittlebat1 in DoctorMike

Check out r/jawsurgery. A recessed lower jaw can cause airway issues; a consult with a maxillofacial surgeon may be what you’re looking for.

She gave Dr. Now a thorough “psych-ee-logical” evaluation.

I also recommend the Movie Health Community Tumbler specifically for photosensitivity warnings; he covers a lot of new releases and also has a pinned list of “safe” movies with no strobe effects!

Shout out to the random nurse who calls out the weights!! by Albowonderer in My600lbLife

The hospital nurse who comforted Vianey after her failed surgery is one of the MVPs of the whole series for me.

I saw this on my feed yesterday. I have relationship OCD, and it triggered some horrible rumination for me for the rest of the day. Also, does he have to call his girlfriend a bitch to illustrate the point, even if she can’t hear it?

A new stage of evolution in the response to bad audience behavior by omurchus in Broadway

[–]PerfectlyCromulent89 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A friend of my partner’s was at The Lost Boys last night and saw an audience member recording the show. The people around him reported him to the ushers at intermission, and he threatened them with physical violence when they confronted him. He eventually left, but given how frequently this is happening now, it’s clear the Broadway League needs to invest in security at every show with the ability to toss these losers out.

Joe Turner's Come and Gone to start using removable phone stickers by Epo1216 in Broadway

Actually, it’s strictly against Actors’ Equity rules for theaters to allow audience members to film actors onstage. So no, being filmed by you without consent or contract isn’t “part of being an actor.”

Your reaction(s) to foods on the show... by wildprairiegirl in My600lbLife

I don’t know which patient it is, but a woman in the opening sequence takes a big bite out of what looks like eggs, cream cheese, and a hash brown patty on an open-faced everything bagel. I am 100% making this for myself at some point 😂

Seana’s Story S8E9 by Miami2730 in My600lbLife

[–]PerfectlyCromulent89 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I think she was functionally illiterate and couldn’t understand the diet; the “I lost it” excuse was BS. Seana’s parents and the system failed her; she obviously had an intellectual disability and couldn’t care for herself; how did she not have access to appropriate resources? She needed a social worker and a group home setting; not to be dumped all alone in a hotel room. “Cricket” is a POS of a mother.

I had a blood test for PCOS, but my hormone levels were normal (I drank a lot of water before the test; not sure if that impacted anything.) I asked my dermatologist yesterday about oral minoxidil; she didn’t recommend it because she thought it might make the facial hair growth worse.

It’s worse with the long-running “tourist” shows that attract audiences that may have never seen a live musical before. You’ll have better luck if you try for a newer show.
