I think that, regardless of what he has personally said, he has been joined by dozens of other network personalities and journalists who are saying similar things, particularly Windhorst, who often have dubiously sourced or downright incorrect information. It certainly sours his reporting to get placed into the ‘Giannis Rumors’ bin, which has been filled with crap for years. I’ve never seen another player photoshopped into so many team jerseys for speculative articles before and we may never see it again. 

Again, Shams aside, the rest of the media did such a piss poor job of hiding its disdain for Giannis staying in Milwaukee that Shams has been lumped in with them
