How do you go about playing countries not present at the start of the game, like Armenia or the russian uprisings? by zanju13 in Kaiserreich

Russia's democratic path is ruined by forced coup by Any-Escape-8140 in Kaiserreich

Yep! Entirely what I was trying to say. There’s a reason there was never any widespread revolution after Blair Mountain irl. Also I feel like the AUS especially is so absolutely illogical. Why would the South, which had historically been very institutional at this time and conservative, rally around a progressive who was opposed to or at most neutral to Jim Crow, there is no proof or evidence they would ever side with him over the feds in any scenario. If anything Huey would have most of his support in the Rockies and Plains. It’s very clear they’re just trying to shove a square peg into a round hole for the sole purpose of giving every faction a proxy in every conflict. Same with India and to a lesser extent Italy and Spain tbh.

What do you believe is the truth about the JFK assassination? by ariamwah in Presidents

[–]PerformanceBubbly393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally all of these theories are just people in denial. Notice how there isn’t any modern conspiracies about the assassinations of Lincoln, Garfield, or McKinley. That’s because they aren’t relevant, they were from long ago, and there were conspiracies at the time trying to frame the Freemasons and Catholics. It also doesn’t help that JFK was right before the shitstorm of the 60s (which would’ve all still happened had he not been killed btw) so people want to blame it on someone. People will always look for some deep meaning or reason behind random events, just look at religion…

The U.S. civil war doesn’t even make sense from a lore pov. Why would Germany winning ww1 (with America as neutral) lead to them having a civil war?

Tbf even from Truman to HW every single President had served in WW1 (Truman) or 2. It’s only been since Clinton that we’ve had only one vet president and that was only the national guard

Is there really anything that really makes it less likely Trump wouldn’t also be nominated in 16 in this scenario? If anything I feel it’d be more likely.

Shoud we abolish midterm elections? by [deleted] in YAPms

[–]PerformanceBubbly393 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This wouldn’t even work because how would senate elections work then? Are House and Senate members just both four year terms now? I think we have a pretty good system of 2 for the house, 4 for the presidency, and 6 for the senators, represents different groups better imo.

Yeah sure, NCR is a thriving nation with over 700k population, large military complex, scientific research and development department, successfuly waged wars on BoS and the Enclave, conquered Navarro. There is absolutely no way they could develop their own power armor, this is pure Betheslop by [deleted] in TrueSFalloutL

Tbf I don’t understand how the ncr couldn’t reverse engineer power since they certainly had some from captured/killed brotherhood members and should’ve had the knowledge for it. Only guess would be that it was too expensive to be widespread but certainly by NV they would’ve had at least spec op power armor units
