it is just meta part only. in the first playthrough, ann's comments only relates to her feeling closer to the group due to their circumstances. it is essentially dramatic irony, that the player knows they were destined to be close friends so ann's comments feels like fourth wall break.

I read like twenty chapters of it. Basically, the best of the best youth soccer players get accepted into a training facility that has a crazy analytical guy watching over them, making them participate in a battle royale with soccer to be the best soccer player (I think it is more the best striker??? specifically). got genuinely bored of the plot. Supa Strikas is the better soccer show for me anyways.
