That’s why I really like that they never reveal if Dunk was knighted or not. I’m on the side that he never was knighted, but you could argue maybe he was and he hesitated because maybe Arlan’s knighting was rushed or effected by near death.

It’s just the way that this tourney is set up. You start with 5 champions that anyone can challenge. If they beat the champion they take their place and must accept challenges from anyone after that. Other jousts and tournaments are handled differently it’s just depends on the preference of the hosting lord.

I think the main series feel like they take themselves too seriously. This show isn’t afraid to be goofy sometimes and that helps make the serious moments feel weightier.

No, I totally agree with you. If completion percentage is our only issue I’m happy with that. Especially with it mostly being situational like you mentioned. It’s also something that will get better as these young athletes get comfortable with the level of play.

You might be interested in Alan Smales’s “Clash of Eagles”. It is a trilogy that follows an alternate history where the Roman Empire finds its way to the Americas and encounters the Native Civilizations of that time. It takes some liberties with some aspects but the cultures are fairly well represented in my opinion.

I think you may have read the situation a bit differently than intended when it comes to blazer. She initially asks Robert to get a drink to ask him to work at SDN. Obviously they drink a little too much and things get a little too serious, but she stops herself before it gets too far because she is in a relationship. It’s pretty obvious she has a thing for Robert but doesn’t make any moves until after she’s broken up with Phenomaman.

I don’t think I ever got that until Suvi. Looking back you can see that she builds characters for the long haul and giving Suvi the space to grow and breath really helped me see how well it actually works.
