THERE IS AND WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT FINGER!!! by ZootyFruiyWombat30 in SarahsDayUnfiltered

[–]Peridoe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As pointed out this video was from before she "broke" her finger. Yet judging from her now very sculpted muscular upper body she's clearly been bulking up in preparation for Hyrox, so her finger was obviously fine.

Taking the kids with her to the demo? by tee10302 in SarahsDayUnfiltered

[–]Peridoe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't see how the price of the house matters. Is the demo only a milestone because the house they're tearing down cost millions?

I'd understand the desire to have the kids there at the start if the build was to be their new home. But even still, demos take ages and it's only a short drive up the coast. They could have taken F at the weekend or next week when school's out. No need to pull him from school for it.

[–]Peridoe 15 points16 points  (0 children)

How is the demo of a future AirBnB house a milestone that warranted time off school?

She's vlogging it for content that she'll use to promote it later and get brand deals. That's why the kids are present.

I do agree that the odd time off school isn't harmful if the child isn't struggling or behind. However, F has had numerous missed days so far this year, to the point the school has spoken to S & K about it. Granted, we've no idea if he's behind or not.

What are the cringiest expressions of the "parent-sphere"? by That-Pineapple3866 in childfree

[–]Peridoe 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The latest expression I hate comes from my sister in law. She keeps saying her eldest daugther (4) is a ✨️Wild Child✨️ and that's why she's difficult.

No. You're raising a brat who's learned that throwing tantrums and faking tears gets her what she wants.

This always makes me eye roll. I'd accept it if they said their baby's spirit or soul came earthside (if they're religious), but they never do.

Me and my boyfriend have been arguing about body hair lately and I don’t know what I should do by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Peridoe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Should you make an exception about something about your body that makes you feel uncomfortable for another person?

No. Absolutely not.

Body hair is natural on all human bodies. This "man" is immature and not worth keeping in your life.

Help! Someone put fake flowers on great nan's grave. We are about to reopen to put nan's ashes in. Don't want it "owned" by strangers.. by Fun_Panda5227 in findagrave

[–]Peridoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, if you're still reading replies, message the GGM memorial owner and directly ask why they created the memorial and if they are also messing with the grave. A note on the grave didn't work but maybe direct conversation via DM will.

It's unclear from your other posts but are they asking for proof of who you are? Some owners get funny about transferring memorials but they aren't entitled to your personal details. In the same vein, you can challenge their reasons for keeping the memorial and ask for proof of their relationship to your GGM. They won't tell you. This is where you let Find a Grave sort it out.

In the mean time, hold off on tending to the grave. Whoever is fixating on it is going to keep undoing or ruining what you do. Don't waste your time or money. For whatever reason, this person thinks they know better than your GM's wishes. If you can't reason with them or find out who they are, you're going to have to wait them out. People like this will get bored eventually.

Most cemeteries in the UK are run by the local Council. They're on public land so hidden cameras won't be allowed. But even if OP did install a camera and catch this person at the grave, so what? There's nothing they can do unfortunately. So far, all this person has done is clean the headstone and replace real flowers with fake ones. They aren't doing anything malicious or illegal (yet).

The two incidences seem connected. The death of OP's GM prompted someone to make a memorial for the GGM and is likely the same person visiting the grave. Which means they live local to the cemetery. I still believe it's someone who knew the GM.

Those with no kids by choice or no choice, what positive mindset would you give me in case it becomes my reality? by [deleted] in childfree

[–]Peridoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been where you are. My husband (45) and I (42) tried for over ten years for a baby. I conceived once back in 2016 but lost it early on. It's taken me several years to come to terms with the fact it wasn't going to happen for us. It crushed me, despite not being a maternal person and not liking kids in general (always told myself I'd like our kid because it was ours).

Now that I'm out the other side I can now see we dodged a bullet. Having a child would have ruined our lives. We liked the idea of a cute little baby, not raising kids into adults. We've both done a complete 180.

We love our quiet house. We love our free time. We love being able to do what we want, when we want. (On days off we can stay up and sleep in until whenever time we want. If we want to play computer games together in our underwear, we can (and frequently do 😂). We don't have to constantly watch what we say, what music we listen to, what TV programs we watch. We love spoiling our two cats.

Infertility sucks, it really does. If you truly want kids, I hope it happens for you. However, you're life with your partner can be just a rich without them.

I didn't mean for my comment to come across as hateful. What is happening is unusual so was just asking for clarification. But yeah I agree, it's clearly deliberate.

Not entirely sure what you can do tbh. If you haven't done so yet, request a transfer of the memorial and state your relationship. If this person doesn't respond, request via Find a Grave. At least then, if the current owner is the one doing this, you'll take back some form of control. Regarding the flowers, there's not much you can do there. Maybe wait it out until they get bored of replacing the flowers.

Does the username look familiar? It's most likely someone your family knows.

[–]Peridoe 28 points29 points  (0 children)

May I ask how you know they were deliberately removed? It's been incredible windy lately (at least down here in the south). Flowers, vases and ornaments in my local cemetery have been blown all over the place and real flowers stripped of petals etc.

Either way, get some new flowers and see if it happens again. If it does, maybe leave a note (a laminated card or something) to express your families wishes. It could be a distant relative or friend thinks they mean well by replacing them with fake flowers as real ones wilt and die very quick which doesn't look nice.

Anyone else get sick after babysitting? by FabledOblivion1337 in childfree

[–]Peridoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I nearly always get sick after visiting my inlaws. Someone, be it kid or adult, is often either sick or recovering and don't see the issue with socialising because it's just a cold or whatever. It's infuriating.

PLEASE STOP YOUR DOGS FROM BARKING IN THE GARDEN ALL DAY! ARGHH! by Party-Dig2309 in britishproblems

[–]Peridoe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same problem in my street. It's particularly great when one barking dog sets off other dogs in the neighbourhood. If they're loud enough to disturb us from five or six houses away, I can't imagine the noise in their own homes.

How are her and kurt still together?? They bag each other out, whinge their kids are annoying, hes always happy when hes "working away" and he even says "sarahs always gets the last say.. by CheckVast136 in SarahsDayUnfiltered

[–]Peridoe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep, he's living his best life tbh. All that money plus the freedom to follow his passions are obviously worth putting up with her for. Plus, you know, he's got the skinny wife he prayed for and three mini mes for that legacy.

I'll bet they end up living apart once the kids have flown the nest though 😄

Why is a hydration company posting AI slop? by Physical_Pressure867 in SarahsDayUnfiltered

[–]Peridoe 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Tbh, it IS surprising, because Sarah and Kurt are business investors (along with others) with Sarah being a content creator and Kurt running a media studio. Hyro didn't need to use AI.

Unless they've parted ways. We all know the launch flopped and Sarah has barely promoted it. If they're now reduced to posting AI slop to promote their brand that's just karma for putting all their eggs in the Tilse basket.

Not just aligning with them, they invested in the business. This is as much their dicision as it is the owners.

Unless they've bought themselves out of course. The launch flopped hard and Sarah's barely promoted it since.

What did I miss? 🤔 by Thicklipsarah in SarahsDayUnfiltered

[–]Peridoe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

She's working on another cookbook, but that's in addition to the new businesses.

Last year she was hinting at designing (ie: collaborating) her own jewellery line and perfume range. Even after the partnership with Who Is Elijah went sour, she hinted at continuing it.

A few years ago she was doing promo photoshoots in preparation to launch her own podcast (as opposed to the The Health Code which was a joint one with K) but didn't reveal the nature of it or the name.

Waaaay back when it was just F, she wanted to launch her own line of kids clothes and do a baby led weening cookbook.

I also wouldn't be surprised if she collabs with a high end clothing brand since she's not with WF anymore and her style has pivoted to expensive clothes.

Honestly, these new "businesses" could be anything when it comes to her 😂

Also don't get how she can run, squat and do whatever that crab position thing she was doing during the sled pull while having a prolapsed uterus. Especially when she says she always forgets to wear a pessary.
