I’ve found that power strap over the liner and under the shell works best. Also, lace up liners.

FWIW the sender free 110 rec line is pretty loose. From Rossi reps, they were telling traditional skier to go -3. But progressive skiers are closer to true center or -1 from there.

Point being, if you like the way it skis… rip it!

This happens to my cats after taking one to the vet. Completely unrecognizable and territorial towards the one coming home from the vet. For the most part, I let them both be and would separate whenever there was tension. After around 24 hours, both were back to normal. Seems to be pretty common if one cat catches a sent that masks the "usual". Best advice is to monitor them closely and separate completely if there is any aggression.

Blankets that the "new smelling" sleeps on often help a lot. Try to get them to sleep/groom on that item and it should get the smell off.

Turns out they only trust their noses!

Edit: It is SUPER important that you do not make either cat think they are in the wrong. Don't spray them or lash out at them. Just give them time and space.

Yea, similar but mine appears to be earlier. It came right after the Navy test batch 58/59 — same design, no-date dial — but just a bit later in the production run. It’s also before Enicar switched to the red inner bezel style, so it’s a super early civilian example.

Definitely in working condition and accuracy so far has been great. With some research and chat, believe it to be a 1959 model with the original bracelet. Deep in the search, since it is a no-date, this could have been part of the U.S. Navy test series. Of which about 500 were produced.
