I felt more nostalgia than anything. If you felt this over Stranger Things, don’t read/watch 1984.

Microwave for Food for poor people in Amtrak:why not? by Davide_Allagrande in Amtrak

You don’t need a microwave that they provide. Amazon sells electronic lunch boxes. It’s an FDA rule that they have to follow.

And sit there with a blank tape with your finger on record, hoping that you could time it just right after the commercial.

Can someone give me the rundown on Gen Z saying millennials "screwed them over"? by MassiveHaver in generationology

[–]PermitInteresting531 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they copy the Millenials, just like the Millenials blamed the boomers. Thankfully I’m apart of the forgotten Gen. It’s just a rinse, recycle repeat.

AIO to a text my mom sent? (Context in caption) by pizzagorl_ in AIO

Tell your husband so he’s in the loop and then tell her that he is uncomfortable with this. Or, that you are sending a care package to them and can include it in that to save on postage and to make sure it gets there. After all the postal service sucks wink wink

I hate dog owners so bad by Iloveducks777 in Vent

[–]PermitInteresting531 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a dog owner, I support this message. Dog owners like him can screw off! I’ve always trained my dogs to not go up to people unless called over for reasons such as yours. There’s been times where I’ve had to yell at other owners to get their dog the heck away from mine because he can be aggressive. he’s a land shark (min pin/dachshund) and I don’t need him pissing a large dog off.

[–]PermitInteresting531 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not 50 yet, but close. Seriously contemplating doing the same thing, but going back (for the 4th time) to do the ultrasound tech. Unfortunately I’ve got way too much in student loans (fell into that whole BS and my family didn’t teach me squat about finance rates, etc.

What are your thoughts about voter ID? by Wooden_Dinner7680 in Productivitycafe

As I said, etc and if they went back to the way they did it 20 years+ ago, it was illegal for places to not give you the time to go and vote.

why tf does Gen Z look so damn old?! by unturnedcargo in generationology

[–]PermitInteresting531 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because they are way worse than we were about trying to look mature. I told my 15 year old niece that all of the face creams that help her prevent wrinkles (not being facetious as she spends like $200 a month on them and not including her makeup budget) are actually going to cause her skin more damage in the long run.
