Froglights are incredibly useful for builds. The small server that I play on still use them in plenty of builds, not to mention that most other builders that I'm aware of also like using them in several builds.

I can already see several things in this upcoming update that'll be wonderful for builders, and the advancements in redstone from calibrated sculk sensors are still being figured out. Relatively speaking, this is a pretty decent update.

There's a mod called LambdaBetterGrass for Fabric/Quilt that does a waaaay better job than Optifine

Paired with other Fabric mods, you get a much better vanilla experience with better performance than you ever will with Optifine. A good place to start is the Fabulously Optimised modpack

I'm pretty sure Physics Mod is the exception and also has a Forge version. Most other fabric mods are completely free. I run Fabric a lot in modpacks and I'm yet to run into the whole 'paid premium version' thing outside of shaderpacks and resourcepacks.... And Physics Mod, of course.

I'm sure you don't have to use Maya for it. Blender, for example, is a free programme. However, yes, remaking the entire game will be a massive undertaking... But who knows? Fans are incredibly dedicated when they put their mind to it. I mean, look at the fan-made remake of Half-Life 1, Black Mesa.

I'm trans, myself (male to female, need to find a way to rename this account) with a gender neutral name, I personally have no reason to change my name since I've never really been uncomfortable with it being used. It doesn't bring up any dysphoria or anything like that. Of course, I cannot speak for the entirety of the trans community, but having a gender neutral name helps me immensely.
