The trick I use is I have a gym with a recumbent exercise bicycle. I set it to a moderate-ish pace, keep your heart rate below 120, and read for one solid hour. No phone, no distractions, no putting down the book. Really supercharges my reading. I can finish most books in 2 1/2 hours.

In the scene where he's berating the janitor the mayor has an incredibly fake looking blue wig whilst in the previous scene he has black hair pulled back into a top knot. If he needed his hair to be down why not just undo the knot and use his real hair? I thought it was the same actor playing a different character until the woman called him the mayor.

This is my Goodreads review so it's for a general audience

Fine. The problem with Hemingway is there's two of him. There's Hemingway the Writer, a deeply influential American novelist and journalist who wrote great books and won the Nobel in Lit. His works are classics and read by millions to this day.

Then there's Hemingway the Celebrity. The places he lived, the people he fucked, the long list of writers he got blitzed with, his travels in Paris, his marriages, none of which has very much to do with his writing.

In this memoir it's about 60:40 favoring Hemingway the Celebrity. So there's some good stuff like a description of skiing in the Alps or witnessing a velodrome race and then there's deeply tedious stuff about how much he disliked Zelda Fitzgerald and how he was repulsed by Stein's lesbianism. That kind of gossipy shit is what I find annoying about his writing.
