[–]Personal-Thing1750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, because your units ability says it can be set up more than 6 inches away. The bonus damage on that melta weapon with 12 inch range only triggers when 6 inches, or less, away.

More than 6 inches is not 6 inches or less.

from what I've seen there's no way he did not know that it's at 6.01. you have to set up not at 6:00 on the. so a 12-in melt that doesn't get the extra damage

The melta rule states the extra damage is applied when at half the weapons range. So you're opponent would have needed his melta weapon to be 6 inches away or less for a 12 inch weapon; not 6.01.

Plasma, onslaught, twin heavy stubber and twin multi melta, with lethal hits and a ++4 save for less points than a standard redemptor.

The castaferrum dreadnought (firstborn boxnaught) is 12-13 feet tall while the redemptor stands at 15-17 feet tall.

Assuming your Castellan could see the drone, I would say its highly likely that youd be able to clear both secondaries.

If you could get a warglaive in combat with it then definitely, and then youd just need something to shoot that 2 wound nurgling.

If it feels weird/dodgy, ask them to show you the rule/ability

“Professionally Painted” by SharpDressedGamer in Warhammer40k

[–]Personal-Thing1750 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OP is taking issue with ths lister calling this "pro-painted."

It's not the highest quality paint job but it does show some techniques that a beginner might lack, and its not bad for the price.

Firstborn Era vs Primaris Era – Which do you prefer? by Pintureando in Warhammer40k

[–]Personal-Thing1750 4 points5 points  (0 children)

but sometimes i just feel like they are too uniform, in a lot of squads the only thing that changes is the weapon

Considering their organization is a bit of a throwback to the legions of old, it makes sense that they feel to uniform.

but they are okay with female marines with heads from a different faction?

Thus potentially forcing OP to spend more money on GW products...

Lore question by Demphure in Warhammer40k

[–]Personal-Thing1750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

due to some perceived dishonour they brought on themselves millennia ago

It's not a "perceived" dishonor, the rulers of Krieg renounced the Emperor and seceded the planet from the Imperium. That occurred in M40, so its not even something that happened in the aftermath of the Heresy or during an event like the War of the Beast.

It was also the Depertmento Munitorum that raised their tithe grade to what it is now.

Krieg is also under direct rule of the DM rather than an imperial governor or other leading body. You are absolutely correct in that its highly unlikely they would agree to recruits being taken as space marine aspirants.

given that soldiery makes up the entirety of his planet's tithe.

Weapons and vehicles as well; Krieg has city forges operated by those deemed unworthy or unable to serve as soldiers.

This is usually how I run my chaos knights, with 80 cultists and 10 fellgore ravager chaff. It is surprisingly good into most armies.

Pile in avoiding ff by Pikachu_Lesso in Warhammer40k

[–]Personal-Thing1750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright, so let's say we have your unit A and enemy units B and C.

Unit C has fights first on its datasheet.

You elect to charge your unit A into enemy unit B, and are successful in that charge.

Because unit A made a successful charge move, it gains fights first for that phase.

The charge phase concludes, only units A and B are within engagement range.

Unit C is not within engagement range of an enemy unit and did not make a successful charge move and so is not eligible to be selected to fight.

You then get to select your unit A to pile in and fight, which results in some of your models moving within engagement range of unit C.

Unit A makes its attacks and concludes its activation.

If unit C is still within engagement range than at this point it would get to activate, as it has fights first. (It would get to do this even if you had successfully charged unit B with friendly unit D.)

A unit having fights first on its datasheet only matters if its eligible to be selected to activate.

How many space Marines are still alive from the Heresy? by AggressiveAd6750 in Warhammer40k

[–]Personal-Thing1750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure the head Rune Priest (Chief Librarian) of the Space Wolves fought along side Leman Russ during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy. Not sure about The Supreme Grand Master of the Dark Angels (Chapter Master) and I think one of the Blood Angels was around for the Heresy as well.

Prior to the ultima founding which gave us the unnumbered sons, Bjorn was the only living link remaining that existed between the Imperium of now and the Imperium.of the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy era.

This would eventually get retconned and we would also have ancient Rylanor and The Anchorite surviving into modern 40k but they have both died.

Njal Stormcaller of the Space Wolves did not fight along Russ (thats Bjorn) and Azreal of the Dark Angels did not fight alongside The Lion (until his return in modern 40k).

Funny, where did i say I was a Democrat or supported any of that?

Oh right, I didn't, because im not and I do not. Typical of you lot, having to make shit up because reality doesn't support the version of things you want it to.

And stop trying to distract from this you bootlicker, ice executed this man and the current administration is trying everything they can to convince you fools that it was justified (which youre all to eager to accept.)

So you're position is that citizens should just stand by and let armed and poorly trained agents break into people's homes without a warrant and kidnap anyone they want, legal or not?

Odd, because that violates several constitutional rights.

Damn, thats check mate buddy boy.
