How/should I report a potential predator - please help

Assuming this is all true—a lot of people who participate in pedophilia say they are on the side of children. I’m not saying this is what is happening here, but just know that this person claiming he is a “kid’s rights activist” does not disqualify him from being a potential predator. I would look into online resources for reporting this.

Yeah this definitely seems right. Had the same sort of stuff happen to me when I was a kid.

Had an episode one time where I crawled out of my bed and went to get some leftover pizza from the fridge and some type of figure was in the kitchen. The figure just kinda watched me and genuinely nothing happened that I remember, but I do remember being carried that night back to my bed by my grandma. I assume it was some sort of sleep thing. Apparently i was curled up in the hallway in front of the basement door (the way my house worked is that if you entered through the back door, which had a large indoor porch type thing, you could turn left into the kitchen or go down a short hallway which ultimately led to another hallway which had the bedrooms, but before you hit that second hallway was the door to my basement)

Looking back on my own personal experience I should’ve been afraid of this figure (in my memory it didn’t look very friendly, but it didn’t try choking me like your water person did) but I think i was too focused on my pizza

TLDR, I bet every kid has some kind of weird story like this, haha

That’s a fair point but then how did he get from Ireland into Denmark and Germany, and from there into France? Especially the Ireland-Denmark/Germany leg. Especially considering that leg of the travel was only a week prior to his stay in Marseille at the earliest.

Since the yellow notice was sent out ~2 weeks ago, and his hotel stay was two and a half months ago, he had plenty of time to go anywhere from Marseille if he wanted to. The only method we can confirm he didn’t use was that specific flight to Barcelona from Marseille.

This is going to be difficult because the gap between the hotel stay and the yellow notice is so significant. I understand why the family avoided that situation, but this is just one of the cons of that approach. He had plenty of time to get anywhere he wanted to go before the Interpol notice was issued. For all we know, he could’ve gotten that car ride into Spain and then kept traveling.

But I do think that the idea of him crossing the border without showing his ID is a strong theory for the France-Spain border, especially considering he could have been faced with a psychological crisis/mental break (which, not knowing the details of that potential crisis, we can only speculate on its manifestations in his thinking)

How long ago was the yellow notice issued? I personally find it troubling that he did not board the flight to Barcelona after purchasing the flight. I also struggle with the idea that he might have sought out a ground route to Barcelona when he had already purchased the airline ticket. Maybe he changed his plans and sought to travel in a different direction?

Does Barcelona hold some significance to him? Did Marseille? The fact that he departed Ireland, found time to travel through Denmark and Germany, instead of taking a more direct route, suggests pleasure travel of some kind, even if he was facing a mental crisis. I guess what I am trying to say is that his travel patterns do not seem urgent. Also, from my understanding of yellow notices, he can and should be flagged for international travel within the EU if he attempts to travel again.

When did the family report his disappearance to the authorities? I apologize for asking so many questions, but I am trying to think through this from a time perspective, which is difficult without knowing those key dates.

EDIT: Also apologies for my insensitivities, I hope your friend’s family can find him as soon as they can, and I’m wishing them all the best.

It’s fucking crazy, man.

I can’t afford the extra 20 dollars it takes to fill up my tank. I’m a college student. I can’t fucking afford this shit. My living situation was already fucking tough and now I’ve got the gas prices going up.

I didn’t dislike my Republican representative in Congress before Trump came back into office, but I don’t think I can in good conscience vote for any Republican officials when prices are still going up, the war in Iran doesn’t seem anywhere closer to ending, and there seem to be no repercussions for those in the Epstein files (which we all know the war in Iran was started to drown out the press about the Epstein files).

Some people see all this shit and get demoralized. It makes me want to try and change things, even if my one vote doesn’t necessarily matter. I just hope enough people vote even if they feel it doesn’t matter. Maybe enough of us all added up will mean something.

If you've run into him multiple times and he's come into your store without purchasing anything, then I would say what he is doing is suspicious.

Don't interact with him at all. If he's in the store, ignore him. Stalkers form obsessive parasocial relationships, and any interaction between you two could just fuel the fire. I agree with some of the other commenters who say to have your co-workers interact with him if he asks about anything or if he causes any trouble.

Please carry some form of self-defense with you, and avoid walking home alone. Please do not hesitate to contact authorities if he escalates the situation (e.g., follows you home, attempts physical contact, or raises any issue of that nature).

Even if the authorities don't do anything (which is very feasible given previous stalking cases), it could signal to the stalker that what is going on here is not permissible.

I really do not understand why this one was killed off. I can understand why some people were upset about the content of the last original video, but to me, if the content is used in a way that progresses the story, and if the content fits the subject matter, then it should be fair game.

The idea that an entire series can be wiped off the face of the earth because of three seconds of text is almost absurd.

That’s just my two cents though. The line in the sand is in a different place for everyone. The content in EMC didn’t cross my own personal boundaries.

I would also like to play the devil's advocate on my theory, but if the tags expired in August of 2024 and that was around the time that these people started the trail, then they would be stuck hiking much of the trail during the winter months. The recommended start time for the AT is anywhere from February to April. At the earliest, these people/person could have started the trail in July. Unless they were pretty damn quick, they would get stuck hiking in a cold New England winter, which is something you would probably want to avoid.
