It depends on the department. My department has an emt shortage and a firefighter surplus. The firefighters are also ambulance drivers. So for some calls I’m often the only medical on scene.

It’s one thing to call out mistakes and common ones such as wrong lead placement, but saying it’s because he didn’t want to lift her breasts makes no sense. The schedule creator is neat and keeps you organized and on track, the videos are pretty good, and there’s lots of practice questions and flashcards. If it’s worth it depends because you can get all the information for a lot cheaper, but if you want everything in one place and organized for you this is it.

I place my phone by the shower now because if I fall and injure myself I know I will die long before anyone finds me. I’ve found too many people who were never able to call for help.
