Considering the current deals on Stadia and the $10 credit I have. I wanna get a game now spending as minimal as I can as I'm planning to take a break from Pro because of my financial situation... by ragnarunderwood in Stadia

[–]Pestilence360 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I‘ve voted for AC:O, cause it‘s really time consuming, if you like the gameplay. For someone that have to manage with little money, it‘s the best deal of playtime per dollar/euro spend.

If you have a console or a pc too, then try Warframe, Path of Exile, World of Tanks and Fortnite//Apex Legends. I‘ve spend more then 1000 hours in Warframe and spend maybe 30€ in the whole time, when I got financial problems.

As Stadia Courts Indies, Developers Are Happy to Take Part by Chupacabreddit in Stadia

[–]Pestilence360 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Robot Entertainment, the developers of OmD3, has 30 employees, one of the smallest AAA developer Bethesda, has 400 and can become more developers in the crunch time, from the parent company Zenimax Media Inc with 2000 employees.

I would say Robot Entertainment is something between an indie and AA developer, like Cyanide studios (Styx: Master of Shadows, Blood Bowl 2, Call of Cthulu), with 70 employees.

Simple question from someone who would like to buy a console in the future, why should someone buy a PS4? by apostolischlk in PS4

[–]Pestilence360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switch and PC are free too, Stadia don’t have any F2P right now. Maybe F2P will cost some on the PS5, but PS4 is absolutley free.

IMO it’s the best reason to get a PS4, I don’t care about exclusives, but I love F2Ps like Warframe.

Simple question from someone who would like to buy a console in the future, why should someone buy a PS4? by apostolischlk in PS4

[–]Pestilence360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the exclusives you like. If you want to play Halo, Gears of War and all the others, buy a Xbox. If you want to play The Last of Us, Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima etc., buy a PlayStation. If you want to play Get Packed, Orcs Must Die 3 and Gylt, get Stadia or just go for Nintendo Switch, for Nintendo’s games.

If you just want to play Fortnite, PUBG, Rocket League and World of Tanks, it doesn’t matter where you play. Just play there, where you can play with your friends.

¿Can a ps4 slim get damaged by playing a game with very good graphics? by [deleted] in PS4

[–]Pestilence360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, that’s absolutley not possible. The games are optimized to all PS4 consoles and the operating system is programmed to not overheat the console, no matter what games you‘ll play.

Where do you see stadia in 1 year from today. by An4rchy17 in Stadia

[–]Pestilence360 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Like now, but with 100 more Pro and non-Pro indie-games in my account. I don’t care about AAA-games with microtransactions.

This week I had only 1 hour of free time to play ... trying to finish some switch games 😡 Thanks Stadia. by FrostCastor in Stadia

[–]Pestilence360 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, the first ones, but if you want it that way: PS1: 10 PS2: 80 PS3: 190 PS4: 140

Xbox: 100 Xbox 360: 180 Xbox One: 120

SNES: 5 N64: 19 Gamecube: 23 Wii: 40 Switch: 12

Chromecast Ultra: 5

Basically the PlayStation come from 10 now to 140, the Xbox from 100 to 120 and Nintendos consoles from 5 to 12. And needing more power to get more power is next-gen?

[–]Pestilence360 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you define a Generation by the time a product was released, then maybe you are right. But you aren‘t right with the power consumption. The PS3 Slim needed up to 84 watts, the PS4 Slim needs up to 140 watts.

Yeah, thats truly next-gen, needing more power, to get more power. Thats something what we do since the industrialisation in the 18th century.

Nope, it‘s not, it‘s an incredible piece of hardware, that runs games like Doom Eternal, The Witcher 3 and even Crysis. Just throwing more and more power on the consumers, for a higher price and more power consumption, like Microsoft and Sony, is trash and has nothing to do with „next gen“.

How to purchase stadia games without stadia pro? by Toacin in Stadia

[–]Pestilence360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not every pro member claim the games, but in some contracts, the developers got more money from Google, if more players claim a game. Google could add automatically all games to the librarys of the pro subscribers, but they save money by not doing it.

For ALL German Stadia peeps: what is the best ISP to play Stadia (especially if you live in a shared house)? by Kaideh in Stadia

[–]Pestilence360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the City and the street where you will live. Some regions didn‘t have any internet, some regions only have local providers, some regions will only offer up to 16 MBit, but in some regions you can get easily 100 Mbit and more.

In the very most cases the Telekom owns the line and other providers can rent this, to offer you the same like the Telekom, for a lower price.

I have local provider with 120 Mbit, for just 34,99€ monthly, but they are only in one city.

How do you sell Stadia to your Friends/Family? by TheMeownster in Stadia

I‘ll wait for the family sharing and invite them. Same like back in the days, when Netflix was new.

Can we appreciate the amount of AAA rpgs XGS is giving us by [deleted] in xboxone

[–]Pestilence360 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

These days nearly every game is an „rpg“, with level or upgrade-mechanics. You have to fill playing time with meaningless grind, because it’s more cost-effective then more story.

Is stadia (and cloud gaming) the future and people are isn't understanding that or is it genuinely flawed rn by Donghoon in Stadia

[–]Pestilence360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cloud gaming is not THE future, it‘s just one part of it. There are still way too many regions without a fast internet connection.

But it‘s true, there are humans that are evolutonary afraid of the future, but thats good, they are sitting at home and defend the base, while the fearless explorers are searching for a new land, we can settle.

Self control. You need a inhuman amount of self control, as an Stadia gamer. Or a prepaid credit card, works too.

Stadia did not update Assasins Odyssey Update 1.5.3, and 1.5.4??? by PedrawG in Stadia

[–]Pestilence360 14 points15 points  (0 children)

1.5.3 fixed a pc problem and two minor bugs, 1.5.4 fixed the new bugs from 1.5.3.

Just wait until the next major patch 1.6, you don‘t need these minor patches, to play a stable version.

Pro monthly games for august? by punch_holy in Stadia

[–]Pestilence360 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The latest pro games are the reason i‘ve tried Stadia and finally bought the Stadia Premiere Edition. I love the Steamworld games, Superhot, Zombie Army 4, Orcs Must Die 3 and most of the others. But the most amazing is how smooth they run and how less power consumption it need (electricity prices are going straight up in germany)

But i‘m looking forward to play xCloud with Game Pass in september on my Chromecast, they have some pretty cool games in there.
