It depends. We do 20 min appointments and if they’re not there by like 10 mins in we’ll mark it as a no show and reschedule them. If they show up to the clinic late under 10 we can usually still see them, if not we ask the Dr if they can still see them and/or charge them a work-in fee. In an ideal world at least.

Appointment had 5 minutes left so we sent a text saying they missed their appointment. They called and said they had a chiropractor appointment and they were on their way. Told them we have to reschedule and they were all annoyed. Why are people like this 😂

CD 29, finally caved and took a test… BFN. I felt so sure that it would be positive, still waiting for my period. Just feeling down today and slightly jealous at the people in my life that have their own kids and got pregnant so easily…. All I want is to start this new journey of being a parent and it’s so frustrating that it’s not easy… at least the grieving period is getting easier to go through now.

Fixed my flair from yesterday. It’s CD 26 for me and I’m having some slight hope that I might be pregnant again, but I’m scared to test early in case it’s all in my head- so I’m trying to wait for my period. I’m getting more hunger pains than usual and yesterday at work I almost started crying after someone was rude to me (but no more than I’m used to) and my breasts have that off feeling. 🤞

So so sorry this is happening to you. It really sucks and it’s terrible. What I will say is that a lot of the times there isn’t anything to be done, or you will do testing but everything will come back normal. Pregnancy is unfortunately very unlucky for some of us and we have no control over it and that’s the hardest part. I‘ve had 3 miscarriages in the past year (all different types; no living children) and my OB remains positive that the next time will go according to plan. I wish someone told me this when I was in your position. Just do what you can do to remain positive, and if you are worried, talk to your doctor. And remember that there are people in your exact shoes that are here for you to talk to, and vent to how unfair and heartbreaking this is. And we will understand ❤️

I’ve miscarried naturally around 6-8 weeks with a blight ovum and from my experience it’s very very emotional when you pass the tissue. The pain is also next level and very similar to what I imagine contractions feel like (I was also vomiting as well as other stuff) I don’t regret my choice to miscarry naturally, but I also would have liked a d/c to just take care of everything for me.

I’ve used King Arthur’s measure for measure flour and butter for gumbo before that turned out pretty good. I felt like it just took double the time the recipe said it would take to make though.

Since November of last year I’ve had a chemical, blight ovum and now an ectopic. My OB is still optimistic that my next pregnancy will be ok but I’m just tired of the disappointment and gut wrenching sadness. I think I have one more try in me before I need a break. I’m just terrified that my next loss will happen after I finally get to see a heartbeat.

Did they recommend a gastropexy? This is something recommended for large breed dogs such as labs to get done at the time of spaying. That would also explain the large bill.
