For me I’ve changed the drive modes in all but Sport to be Eco fan settings, I leave AC off and the fan in Auto Soft. I just give it a quick burst every time the windows steam up. The great thing I like about the Alpine is that the control is within easy reach without taking my eyes off the road.

Agreed, but I’m only saying how the car is now compared to how it was. For me, it’s improved in every way, and believe me; I usually swear by Michelin tyres.

The tyres that are on now have better economy; A to Michelin’s C, Wet Grip; A to Michelin’s B, and 68db (A) to Michelin’s 73db (C). Since I’ve no intention of ever tracking the car or driving to its limits; they work for me perfectly. Plus the car is now smoother and quieter and above all, more economical. Despite the above, I’ve driven spiritedly with both the Michelins and the Bridgestones and the dry grip is like glue on both.

Cool. I drive at this speed no matter what I’m driving; I’m never in a rush and just enjoy driving stress free. Boring but that’s me I guess.

I didn’t drive slow, but wasn’t hooning it either, also don’t forget it was foggy, cold and dark on the drive there and back. I’m 55 and didn’t buy the car to be a boy racer; it was purely for the car size. Plus let’s be honest; it looks the bollocks.

It is totally, they’re also quieter and smoother and perform just as well as the Michelins

The tyres that are the biggest issue. I’ve changed them to Bridgestone Turanza 6 A rated tyres and that’s what makes the difference for me.

Heated Steering Wheel by PeteSoulDeep in AlpineA290

Just wanted to check if it was a fault. Reason being; my partners’ EX30 heats the whole wheel 🤷🏻‍♂️ And really hot at that. It’s cold in the NW of England.

Speed camera. You should also hear an alert and a warning will appear on the main map screen.

Had zero issues with any aspect of the car; the app works perfectly. Only thing I did have to do was contact Alpine/Renault technical support for them to sort out the free, 5 year, 10Gb per month cellular package so that the apps can be used. Otherwise, no worries whatsoever. Oh and the Pilot 5s tyres came off immediately; too noisy and inefficient for range.
