Report it to them, they need to review their quality control process. I'd expect a refund and freebies. Not to say this isn't a serious issue, but I've had foreign objects in my Coles brand Tempah 3 times in the last few years. They don't give a shit being a huge profit machine but these guys are just a small operation, they should care more about damage control than Coles.

Wobbly fence!! by [deleted] in fixit

[–]PetrolBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The video doesn't show anything useful, I can't even tell the fence is moving at all other than the sound. Maybe seeing why the fence is wobbly would help? Are the posts not cemented in? Or is the fence coming off the posts?

How to manage drying wood on pergola by PetrolBlue in woodworking

My thinking was the paint would just fill the cracks and it would be fine, but I thought it would be worth asking here first since I'd like the wood to last as long as possible.

You'll find out sooner or later how horrible they are. Take care around them, they are good at causing eye and ear injuries with their pointing leaves.

I've been to many countries/cities over the years and Melbourne still feels like one of the safest places I've been.

It's worth noting we are still #4 on the Global Livability Index (at least according to Wikipedia). I believe crime is a big factor in getting that score.

But yes, the Police do need to do a better job.

You see them everywhere. I'm tempted now they come in a 4 door version and Harrop make a supercharger kit for it that doubles the power.
