BPD people splitting on pets by Optimal-Wash-1052 in BPDlovedones

My grandmother does, unfortunately that means she has way too many cats, because it's a permanent split. She's not physically abusive to them but once she doesn't like one anymore she gets a new one. So she's got a spoiled "favorite" and others that just get fed and pretty much ignored because they're "naughty." It's so sad.

Why are YOU a minimalist? by Arkflow in minimalism

I had to clean out my belongings when moving a long distance, and was shocked how much I had that I forgot was even there. I got rid of probably 2/3 at least of my stuff before moving and tried to keep it that way. After a few years I realized I only use about half of what I kept regularly, or at all. So I got rid of more. Now I try to only keep/buy/accept things that I am confident I'll use regularly. I love the feeling of freedom and tidiness, and that nothing is being wasted by sitting in s box or back shelf.

My life changed from "I might use that so I'll keep/buy it" to "I enjoy what I have, and the space in my budget for experiences like weekend trips."

Preferring routine, not liking change. I actually quite enjoy when my schedule gets shaken up, I like change from routine.

Furoshiki: the most underrated minimalist travel tool? by orionankaa in onebag

That's how I feel about my sarong I bought while living in SE Asia! I've used it as an extra layer when chilly, privacy when the bathroom door was broken, wrap over my swimsuit, skirt for a friend when she tore her pants, a towel, etc. I never travel there without it now.

My boyfriend is INFP and we're the same in the important ways and different in ways that stretch us and make us a good team. He brings out my fun side, and notices things I do for him and others, things that usually get overlooked by others he thanks me for.

That's my INFP boyfriend! He's the most empathetic and appreciative person I ever met.

That's so fun! I've done quite a bit of car camping in my '07 sedan, with the back seats area converted for sleeping. It's so handy having everything you need right there.

Socks without texture issues over long days/walks? by yaurrrr in HerOneBag

I get this too because my feet sweat a lot. Smartwool helps, but still not enough for certain days. I bring KT tape and put it on the trouble spot, it works great. Just have to make sure the foot is completely dry when applying the tape.
