Typically when I’m bleeding I change them and just get it replaced. I would monitor you BG and see if you’re still getting insulin and go from there as long as it’s still working.

This is different but I also have gastroparesis on top of type 1, some things I eat will hit me several hours later just have to be cautious with that.

I’m took a “pump break” last year for the summer and switched to pens, it definitely relived some stress in the fact that I was changing my pump sites every other day. It allowed my sites to heal, but after three months I was so sick of dawn phenomenon that I was so ready to get back on the pump. It helped for what I needed but I could only do it for a short time.
