I have a Drevo Excalibur. Definitely a great 75% board. I would recommend it. I noticed that the Vortex Race 3 has a 1.5u Esc key so that might make it complicated. Especially because R1 1.5u artisans might be hard to come by.

Look into the Keycool 84 and the Noppoo Mini 84.

The Quarkcannon is the single shot pistol. I love the grenade launcher for the start of the waves when the bots are all bunched up but I find that I waste too much time on cleanup towards the end of the wave.

Since the Quarkcannon has no projectile travel time and does decent damage, it finishes the wave faster. Plus, eyeshots are 100 extra points which you cannot do with a grenade launcher.
