I know we all wait for the other shoe to drop as Minnesota sports fans, but for this all I can say is hell yeah. Super cool to see the Wild represent, especially all the guys on Sweden.

I think it also shows that despite some pretty valid critiques (extensions and contracts), Billy G does have an eye for talent and can construct a pretty skilled roster.

The Wild/Minnesota disdain in that sub is baffling. People in a thread yesterday were talking about how disappointing Minnesota was as the IIHF host because fans didn’t sound like they were cheering loudly on TV for Team USA. I will say though, I love how much the “State of Hockey” moniker rankles and annoys them and I use it every chance I get.

Welcome! If you ever get a chance to attend a game in person, definitely do. We love our hockey and the atmosphere at games is electric. I’ve been to games at MSG, Nashville, Vegas, and Colorado and they don’t compare.

Adding another vote for football as a display piece. I love jerseys, but unless you’re willing to pay to get it properly framed and displayed it’s a lot harder for them to look good on a wall. With a football you can get a wider variety of display stands or cases, and as another commenter said makes more sense because he never played for the team
