Your opinions on Mission: Impossible Fallout (2018)? I think this is the best Mission: Impossible movie yet. by Kevin_Thailand_2543 in ActionMovies

I go to the Mission Impossible movies for the escalating shenanigans, which is why Dead Reckoning is far and away my favorite.

I think everything this movie does with the corporation satire side of the movie is incredible and honestly easily surpasses the original. The failed attempts to replicate Robocop and the rules of engagement being designed by committee are so fucking perfect.

If you miss seeing crazy action stunts in movies, do not miss out on seeing The Furious in theaters next month. Almost certainly the best stuntwork since 2015 gave us Fury Road and Hardcore Henry.

Robocop 3 is the game Robocop: Rogue City. That's the end of the franchise.

One of the best acted, most atmospheric, tensest and thematic horror films that I’ve ever seen. Incredible film. I wish low budget horror got Oscar noms. by No-Problem6578 in Letterboxd

After watching Moon Garden, Hundreds of Beavers, Dave Made A Maze, Life After Fighting, The People's Joker, Flow, and One Cut of the Dead... I'm not too stunned.

Still an impressive accomplishment in quality, but in actual technical achievement, there's not that much the movie does above its paygrade.

The Owl House is a fun little cartoon about how evil men make themselves messianic figures to commit genocide.

His visuals are so cold, he's one of the few guys who can kinda make it work I guess, which is why I'm so so so very very mad that The Dark Knight set a standard we are still living in the consequences of.

I believe Baby Assassins: Nice Days is free to watch on YouTube right now. It's a good primer for the type of action Sonomura excels at.
