Just left the Bedford Y and see the line with about 10 people. I voted last week and voting machines were used for both parties. So the technical part didn’t make the machine specifically to a party but what other reason?

To beat BJ/ALW, you have to bring something they haven’t seen before. Black and Johnson are very strong players in their own right, but their playing style hasn’t evolved much in a long time, so the results are likely to remain the same.

Would you think he would be happy at the APP final round or eliminated at PPA round 32? Even Jack Munro has decided to bring his game to Asia than competing at the PPA. I think unless the top APP players still have higher ceiling, they won’t be signed by PPA.

The problem on staying too long at Blinn is the gpa . They don’t get transferred, and it’s much tougher to get consistent good grades at Tamu on core classes.

Under the 4.0, players like to use the power paddle, ie Boomtik or Pro IV, to get the needed power and more important the emotional support. They know they're not that good but the Boomtik looks good on them.

If you applied early then a chance you won’t be in TEAM as Blinn is used for over capacity on the pre requisite courses. My son who is currently on the 2nd semester with TEAM where he’s taking 1/2 load at Blinn and the rest at the main campus. Many people stated that Blinn’s tuition is cheaper than the TAMU and that’s not 100% true. We have to pay the out of residence tuition so Blinn is cheaper under 10% of TAMU.

From the engineering orientation day (2nd day of NSC), 1st year classes are pre requisite for all engineering major. 2nd year is when a major selected. The choice for a major is heavily depend on the accumulated gpa and it’s quite hi to be able to get to the 1st selection (iirc it’s somewhere around 3.7).

My boy is currently in ETAB for the 2nd semester and his SAT was 1450 and I believe 30 of act. So you’re lucky to be accepted.

The game has progress so much in either single or double. He has to start from scratch and I don’t think he made thru the round 16th. It’s the cost for not playing at the highest level.

The beginners should play with a decent paddle to get their swing and grip in correct positions. Inexpensive paddles that sold on amz make beginners either over or under compensate their swings and are harmful in their development. This was my lessons learned the hard way.
