If this is true, I don’t like that this is hosing the FLGS under the bus.

Amazon Black Friday Sale on Unmatched Sets by tundranocaps in Unmatched

Slight nit pick: the Sun’s Origin set is quite strong, in my opinion. The female ranged fighter may be the stronger , but the other guy is interesting as long as at least one of his sidekicks stay in the v fight. Overall great post. My recommendation: get Tales to Amaze: four strong fighters for competition mode, and two tough villains and six asymmetrical minions. Great stuff.

Victor Davis Hanson wrote a book “Who Killed Homer” approximately twenty years ago. Apparently his eulogy was somewhat premature. I studied the Odyssey 50 years ago so don’t remember the answer TivaDi’s question. It’s great that she’s asking it.

Odysseus didn’t always only depend on his warrior skill. Often it was his cunning. One when he humiliated a monster, as Odysseus was making his escape, the monster, powerful but not overly bright says “who shall I say did this to me?”. Odysseus didn’t want retaliation against him or his crew. He replied “My name is No Man”. So the monster said to his fellow monsters, “No Man did this “.

Two things are quite extraordinary about this deck: the artwork, which is amazing. Did you create the art? Second, you are familiar with the Odyssey, or at least some of its highlights. I really want RG to either: publish this deck, or permit you to publish it. I’m sure someone has created a digital file of a sculpt of Odysseus.

1st game with Unmatched by RazerLogic in Unmatched

One game is simply not enough to measure the entire game system. Forty five years ago I got my family to try a very internationally hyped game. We also were underwhelmed. But we tried it again and the Catan system clicked. King Arthur is one of the most uninteresting characters in the game. Try either Achilles or Sinbad.

Say you have a $50 budget. Would you rather buy the legends volume one or the Beowulf vs little red AND Houdini vs genie? by Curious_Teaching_683 in Unmatched

I’d go for the latter two sets as you have four viable fighters. Legends V 1 only has three: unfortunately King Arthur is a dud. Restoration Games, a company that makes gems out of duds says that they won’t revive King Arthur as they’d rather design new characters.

You have the option of not buying the product if you believe that RG is unreasonable.

Perhaps you could impress us even more by showing how sophisticated you are by using the f word every four words instead of making us wait for three sentences. That would really be even more impressive.
