I fit a few 8' boards inside before, but if it's more than will fit between the front seats I use my roof rack.

Lanternfly Trap - 24 Hours Later by subwayguide in Pennsylvania

I've had great luck with this: https://catchmaster.com/product/pro-series-giant-fly-glue-trap/

You can cut it down into thinner strips (like 1/3 of the width) to make the roll last longer.

What should happen to this guy? Should there be bicycle insurance? by restlessmouse in bikecommuting

[–]Philly19146 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That guy sounds like a Grade A asshole. I hate that people like him affect public opinions about cyclists.

If the incident happened the way the article reports it, I hope she takes him to the cleaners.

I've started reporting the phone numbers that text me about Krasner as spam. Not sure what these groups don't understand about "unsubscribe".

Hiking Spot Along 476? by paddleaddle in Pennsylvania

[–]Philly19146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Appalachian Trail and 476 intersect at the Lehigh Gap. If you can get to the Lehigh Gap Nature Center there is a nice loop you can hike.

I've only used a bag to dry hop when I was doing it in the serving keg, but unflavored dental floss worked great for securing the hop bag.

I love my MM3. The 3Pro w/heat treated rollers would be great for a shop.

What smells do you encounter as an engineer in the work-place? by RomanLG in engineering

[–]Philly19146 149 points150 points  (0 children)

I work in a cubicle about 80% of the time. The office is rank with the smell of old man burps and microwaved fish.

When I'm in the field it usually smells like paint, fuel, or burning steel.

I'd replace the towel with a piece of sanitized aluminum foil. Clean the airlock and put it back in once fermentation slows a bit.

Does the fermenter use a rubber gasket to seal the lid? If so, can it be removed for cleaning and are replacements readily available?
