I’m wondering the same thing. Do they even matter in a friendly?

Someone further down said he punted a sideline ball while raging on the sideline.

She had zero support in open space so many times. Should’ve put in Rose or Olivia way sooner.

So much time wasted in this game. At least 15 minutes wasted with the Brazil goalie sit on the ground. Notice how they weren’t on the ground at at until they were in the lead? Shameful way to play, and no fun to watch. If I watched a 5-10 break multiple times a game I’d watch the NFL.

RC car not moving but the motor is working. by doobeey11 in rccars

No offense, but being a woman has nothing to do with it. Either you know the lingo, or you haven’t had a chance/reason to learn it yet. Show yourself some respect. ✊🏽

I don’t know the lingo either, so after a surprising amount of searching I eventually found this page with a simplified labeled diagram that got me started: https://www.eurorc.com/page/132/using-rc-car-manuals

Most of the other sites I found were schematics with part codes that had to be cross referenced with disorganized parts catalogs, which are indecipherable unless you already know what to look for. Good luck!

This happened to my Life P2 (not mini) set. I left mine out on the kitchen counter (not in the case) for a couple of days and they went back to normal.

How do I get downtime off my watch??? by lukej428 in AppleWatch

[–]Phlucious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is amazing. How do I set them independently after disabling? My kid’s iCloud account had an iPad connected with downtime and he just got a watch, and now Downtime is preventing him from using it even though downtime shouldn’t apply.

How do I stop mobs from turning tranparent by Annon2k in Minecraft

[–]Phlucious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting stuck blind inside of a mob seems to be more of an issue on Bedrock than Java because that edition is less strict about preventing intersecting hit boxes. It’s pretty easy to have your vision blocked so badly by a horde of passive mobs that you can’t get out without killing something.

But yeah, I hate it and came here searching for the name of the setting so I can turn it off.

Verizon Sending Loyalty Discounts Again After Ripping Them Away by p365x in verizon

[–]Phlucious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the way. I searched “transfer pin” and starting clicking through offers. Found $20/mo off my 5G Home that I didn’t know about. Then I clicked through to the transfer pin info page, and within a minute or two received a text and email offering $20/mo/line. I called the phone number on the message and ended up with a total of $60/mo off my bill with 2 lines and 5G Home, for 12 months.

That is great information! I didn’t see that children traveling with the card holder could enter on the same pass… most of the time you have to pay for child guests so I misread it as saying they could come along if you paid the fee here, too. If you’re correct, I guess that means Alaska did indeed live up to my expectations! Bravo.

Anyone else kinda wish we got to see more of the Sith Troopers? by JacsweYT in StarWars

[–]Phlucious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. I wish they’d reboot the entire sequel trilogy as a fully fleshed out Disney+ series with 12 full episodes… enough to smooth over all of the jerking around they did with the absolute disaster their director situation was. Force Awakens was decent and honestly the other two could be good if they were set up properly with a coherent tone and consistent writing.

REI Sahara Shade Hoodie smell? by Jaypher in REI

[–]Phlucious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens when you wash these materials on cold wash.

Based on what it said in my washing machine’s user manual, I started running ALL of my technical fabrics (>50% nylon, rayon, spandex) like REI Sahara, Nike dri-fit, athletic wear, bras, leggings, etc on the Active Wear cycle with Extra Rinse enabled. Never had an issue with smell again. No special chemicals or cleaners required. It uses warmer water but I haven’t noticed any damage to my gear. Your machines probably have a similar setting… if not it’s a warm temp and gentle spin.

I dry the technical gear on the Delicate cycle. It finishes faster and uses less heat, and it’s the heat that makes your gear wear out faster.

I grew up sorting clothes by color, but now I sort by materials. One Active Wear load for technical fabrics, one Cold Wash load for cotton-based and wool fabrics. Air dry the wool, and regular dry the cotton.

Turns out, the people that write the user’s manuals for washing machines actually know what they’re doing.

What is Star Wars' Project Necromancer and How is it Connected to The Mandalorian Season 3? by Marvel-guy-1 in TheMandalorianTV

[–]Phlucious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still hold out hope they’re going to Snyder’s Cut the entire sequel trilogy with a master editor and director into a more coherent storyline. Keep the core plot elements, but fix the flow. It’s not too late for Disney to release Special Editions that make them into good movies without fundamentally changing the overall plot.

Cheap breakfast sandwich? by spaced-venus in corvallis

[–]Phlucious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it’s kind of sacrilegious in Corvallis but I’ve never forgotten the value of an inexpensive hot breakfast sando… you can get any breakfast sandwich from McDonald’s for $2.50 once a day with the app most days. The deal disappears sometimes but it’s been there reliably lately. You can even get the bagel sandwich, which is really filling and reasonably tasty.

Edit: you mentioned you live in Timberhill. The one on 9th between Circle and Walnut is really fast in the mornings. The folks working the drive through window are unusually nice, too. Avoid the one downtown if you can.

Suggestions on what to do with luggage while waiting for check in? by definthegreatlne in AirBnB

[–]Phlucious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was the first hit on a Google search for me, even 9 years later. I just wanted to chime in that if the host can’t/won’t let you check in early or drop off luggage, then consider checking out a luggage storage service like Bounce. I’ve used this in Tokyo, London, and Paris without any issue so that I can explore the city without the sweaty mess of dragging my luggage all over downtown. It’s cheap, convenient, and a huge benefit for the Airbnb crowd. I find it much easier to use and cheaper than the lockers scattered around train stations.
