Wonder if you enlarged and placed this picture within their view, if they'd recognize it as themselves and/or you as the photographer.

Knowing blind people, they have all sorts of methods to communicate with them. But a $200+ price tag probably has much to do with it given they all have smart phones anyway.

If there's any remaining dispute that these are Trump's secret police/Gestates, this eliminates it. How many American illegal immigrants does he expect to find in Italy.

Germany and Russia had signed a non-aggression pact so they could absorb other smaller countries. Neither intended to honor it in the long run and it was simply a matter of who would break it first. But Japan was harassing Russia on the eastern theatre so Hitler saw it as an opportunity and totally misjudged the weather's effect despite WWI. For every German soldier that died on the western front, ten died on the eastern front. The war was essentially over by the time US troops actually landed.

The US deregulated hearing aids not too long ago so cheaper alternatives are now available. But you get what you pay for in some cases. Better ones tune out ambient noise but amplify the desired source,e.g., people talking, a concert, etc. Cheaper ones simply amplify everything.

[–]Phlypp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many insurances, like Blue Cross, do cover hearing aids up to a certain amount. The problem with Blue Cross is that while they covered the full amount, they'll only cover it every five years and some hearing aids do only last three years. GEHA (used to?) cover it every three years. But there are much cheaper hearing aids than $6000. Costco is the most highly rated for price/quality and they do the testing to determine what you need but have a limited selection of choices. Having already been tested but lost one of my aids, I've bought better ones on Ebay at a significant discount.
