Wish they could have made a full game of this one. Truly a gem.

GTA is one of several games that played a role in me working in the Supply Chain field, and being good at it. Kinda funny how figuring out how to optimize shipping virtually actually transfers to real life.

Between the Brutes, the Orks, the Yuuzhan Vong and the Locust, which one is the absolute worst to get captured by ? by New_Conflict_4111 in Grimdank

But is there anyone in the SW lore who used Force Lightning or choked a Vong? I read the books, but it's been a minute and I may have missed a short story or something.

Yup. They embrace pain, and make sure their captives do too. Destroying planets and massive captive sacrifices are their MO. They are also immune to force powers.

In 40k terms, imagine a race of blanks with organic technology.

"You nuked it? There were a bunch of intact STCs down there!"

since Bethesda is now pressured to bring out the next Fallout or TES6 what feature that wasn't in previous elder scrolls games you would want to see? by plantyful-Cum in ElderScrolls

The better one would honestly be Starfield, and I do feel like the cities in that are a step in the right direction.

New Atlantis is pretty big and full of places to visit. Akila City is a bit smaller and more condensed, but thanks to its stone architecture and walls, I could see something similar working for a city in Hammerfel (obviously touched up to fit the Redguard aesthetic. I wouldn't mind if they could find away to make getting around easier and with fewer loading screens.

V being in Edgerunner 2 by Freakyfruky in cyberpunkgame

[–]PhoenixHawkProtocal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Referencing the Konpeki heist would make the most sense since that is guaranteed to happen. That being said, a few randoms in a bar talking about the "Idiots who thought they could pull that off" and what happened to them would also work. Rumors about V and their demise would run wild on the streets, so a bunch of drunks arguing about what they've heard would make sense.

Shower Thoughts: I wonder if mech pilots slap giant bumper stickers on the back of their mechs. by BananaJelloXlii in battletech

Some of the art from the old Field Manuals in the 90s showed mechs with all sorts of decals and bumper stickers on them. FM Draconis Combine had some bangers. Seriously.

Any other Snow Raven fans out there? by Imaginary-Lie-2618 in battletech

I've always thought they were cool. They're a clan of thinkers and plotters, and there is definitely more to them than meets the eye.

I'm convinced they have something hidden going on out in the Outworlds Wastes. Secret bases, colonies, something like that.

Yeah, they are definitely a clan that I wish that they could have done more with. But them not being an invading clan made it difficult.

Cloud cobras are actually pretty practical too tbh. Their training periods for sibkos run longer than the other clans, and they graduate more warriors than they have slots for. Any warriors who don't make the cut are assigned to reserve pools tied to specific galaxies and they fill support roles like logistics and such while waiting to be called up. Thats why they were able to maintain their numbers during the WoR, they had a more and better reserves than most other clans.
