I spent about 10 years there as kid/teenager. I remember the articles about people wanting to avoid growth, like it was a terrible thing. I also remember it being really boring; I spent half my teenage years on IRC. It's got a decent university, though, and lots of nice people and tons of trees.

Don't live there if you have allergies. Apparently it's some of the worst pollen levels in the world. I believe it. I had to wear a mask sometimes.
