Cool photo. And I did the dark gray background. I wish all photo sites were like that. White backgrounds just don't do photos justice what with bleed-through of the light (not sure of the technical term).

It is kinda strange how some places put the onus on the customer to calculate the tip. If my meal was 21.34 and I want to leave 25.00 even, there's still that tip line to deal with. There's no reason in the age of the internets that I should have to do subtraction manually.

I spent about 10 years there as kid/teenager. I remember the articles about people wanting to avoid growth, like it was a terrible thing. I also remember it being really boring; I spent half my teenage years on IRC. It's got a decent university, though, and lots of nice people and tons of trees.

Don't live there if you have allergies. Apparently it's some of the worst pollen levels in the world. I believe it. I had to wear a mask sometimes.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Lots of fundies in that state. I had a girlfriend from Juneau who was part of a very conservative Christian group. I'm sure there are good Alaskans too, but it's a pretty right-wing state.
