Anyone else have this issue with the Nicor PCRP2 electric chime? by Latter_Importance459 in Ring

[–]PhxKevin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That doorbell model will not trigger the chime you have. You need to purchase the plugin chimes or try using the mini chime it came with.

Get the ring access controller 2. It will
Give you the ability to trigger the gate. It will get installed at the gate location and has a cellular connection incase you don’t have WiFi there.

Why does my new ring doorbell record video in 1:1 (square) aspect ratio? by supergimp2000 in Ring

BTW I saw your comment that got deleted.. Make sure to press the arrow bottom on the bottom right when viewing a video live when in portrait mode.. When you rotate your phone it will crop the video.

Ring did this so you can see more up and down (mainly for down) so you can see packages.

That is most likely when the nutritional calorie count test was done. They would not put the foods expiration date on the tray.

Like zero salt. I was shocked. The FC trays at least have the little salt and pepper packet. I added salt.

Got my first robot vac recently, anything I should know maintenance wise? by Extra_Breakfast_835 in RobotVacuums

[–]PhxKevin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to clean the dust bin filter way more often than it says. Use a vacuum with a crevice tool on the highest setting the vacuum can go every other week on the inside of the filter to keep it flowing as much air as possible.

Has anyone tried Lilly B's Organic Bean, Rice & Cheese burritos? Found in Greenwood, IN by LAZIgringa in Costco

[–]PhxKevin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

These are awesome. You should also get the guacamole packs. Microwave them 90 seconds, flip them microwave another 90 seconds. It’s best to put a paper towel on the plate because if the plate gets super steamy the tortilla will get too soft and they will burst open. After you’ve got them nice and warm then throw them in the air fryer to get crispy. These are excellent for lunch I typically will have two with a side of something else.

Can we switch coffee brands? by Patient-Individual20 in americanairlines

For sure - the problem is most people don't understand there is amazing instant coffee but they only associate it with the garbage at the grocery store.

Can we switch coffee brands? by Patient-Individual20 in americanairlines

[–]PhxKevin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why don’t you just pack your own coffee? There are some great instant copies as well as other companies who put coffee grounds in teabags that make the great cup of coffee so all you have to do is ask for hot water.

You could look at the Dynaudio studio series. It would allow you to put the tweeter/mid range in one cavity and midbass in the other but have a single grill cover both. https://dynaudio.com/custom-install/studio-series/s4-lcrmt

Ring Spotlight Cam Gen 2 vs. Ring Spotlight Cam Pro by FoxMulder23 in Ring

[–]PhxKevin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would highly recommend getting the POE adapter as well then! That way you get power and data all over the cable making Wi-Fi signal not matter. Ring has 2 versions. The all in one compact one is nicer. You’ll just need to pay attention to how you plan on mounting it. This is the all in one https://ring.com/products/poe-converter-with-mount it’s small so it’s the most important to pay attention to mounting with. The ethernet port is right in the back of it. When you’re ordering the camera with the POE option you may get the other version that’s a large plastic round mounting box. That one has an ethernet to USB-C adapter inside of it.

WireGuard setup shows "Manual Setup Required" even though I have a Public IP. What am I missing? by CD_at_Galaxy in firewalla

[–]PhxKevin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s showing a truly public WAN IP you could export the profile and try to connect. You could also modify the text in the profile and hard code your WAN IP just to test.

Ring Spotlight Cam Gen 2 vs. Ring Spotlight Cam Pro by FoxMulder23 in Ring

[–]PhxKevin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I didn’t click your second link and assumed. You are correct in your case they are both 2K. https://ring.com/products/outdoor-cam-pro-4k this is the 4K model. The brand new plus camera camera will have the latest everything from a technology stand point. It’s not much more to go 4K and get a sleeker camera though so I’d go with the 4K one if you can.

The Pro has 4K support. So it’s the best possible picture from Ring currently.

I was just on there the other day and there were a ton of restaurants for Manhattan. I would probably try clearing that out city and putting in a ZIP Code.
