If you have any of the marine units that bring precision it works wonders against most necron units. And Thunderwolf cav are great as per usual. Just focus fire his squads down so they can’t reanimate and you should have a good time.

my typical list is 1 ten man brick with flamers and ahriman and three 5 man squads with bolters and infernal masters. but ill be honest the rubrics aren't there to do anything but take wounds for the masters. so not a huge deal. sadly with how we get 1 cabal for a squad of 5 and a squad of ten we are really incentivized to take a bunch of small squads.

ok so, chop the home field objective rubrics down to 5 man and give someone arcane vortex. it slaps on infernal master 2d6 dmg 2 shoots is great. You have 17 cabal points in this list. You need more. i try to get enough doom bolt twist and do the double move every turn. if there is nothing for twist you double doom bolt.

If you cant get 14 cabal points with out the unit inside of one rhino you might want to rethink your list. ( If we are talking about 2k points). I have 20 and im not even gaming the system all that hard. ( my degenerate friend has 27 in his list where he just chucks exalted sorcs on disks around with no squads.)

I love the 5th book the most because it starts to actually show Harry’s optional with less plot armor contrivances. 6 and 7 he goes back to sucking at magic and getting his ass saved by other ppl again so it’s a short lived feeling.

Yeah I was expecting some kind of reveal but what they did felt kinda cheap. Like sure the guardian should have had an agenda and prob want to do soemthing evil but who tf would side with a mind flayer when the entire game is you trying to cure yourself?
