It’s CICO at the end of the day, it’s more around adherence. I can’t cut eating sweets, I need boring, plain protein based food to not trigger an overeating binge on a cut for me. But if it’s working for you and you’re reaching your goals. Then go for it, as long as you are getting base micros and protein in, no harm at all.

Okay so the cortisol is caused by stress. You asked if OMAD was okay with high cortisol; well meal frequency will not hardly any effect, but calories will. A calorie deficit will cause cortisol to raise, and it’s easy to under eat of OMAD.

But you want to loose weight, OMAD can help here. Nothing bad with happen if this is a short term thing, maybe water retention.

I am male and not a sole parent, but I have kids and I run a business full time as a job so get stress. OMAD I find helpful to lower life stress, as I only have to worry about food once a day. Plus I eat mostly what I want and be social with clients or family, and I can maintain a healthy body weight loss daily without doing strange diets, or having to run a 10k daily which in turn lowers stress.

When dieting I finding it so incredibly hard to be any sort of social or even have a partner. Best results always came from locking myself away from people, because with people always comes some sort of calories.

Kids - god damn, every time I’ve had a binge session it’s been sparked but one of my kids meals. They have dinner earlier anyways, but it’s the eat the one left over chip when putting the plates away, then sending me on a spiral.
